Staff were friendly and accommodating on check in, given free wifi voucher for use for the duration of our stay. Large comfortable rooms, with all amenities we required. Mineral pool in room was amazing and a great added extra. Only downside was the tv, unable to find more than 2 channels. Overall exceeded our expectations for the amount we payed.

Morning, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay here. Im sorry that you couldnt find much channels. Unfortunately other guests who stayed in the room before you must of played with the tuning as there is definately more than 2 channels. We would have come and sorted that for you if we had known. Other than that we hope...

Very peaceful motel, the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Who cares if the rooms are a bit dated they were very clean and functional and the spa pool was to die for, very good value for money too. Highly recommend

The room was well set up with everything we needed for our stay. Bonus mineral spring water bath which we didn't expect - felt fabulous at end of big driving day. Service was very helpful and friendly And gave great tips for eating out. We managed to visit 2 out of 3 recommended in our two nights and both were...

When we arrived we were greeted with happy, and kind staff which was, unfortunately, probably the best part of our stay! We had an upstairs room. Our kitchen tap leaked, which was very annoying at night when we were trying to sleep; the bench was sticky; there was no air conditioning, which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep; the freezer...

We stayed on a very busy Auckland anniversary weekend. They were pretty much the only place with reasonable rooms that were not fabulously expensive. Even then the cost was pricey - more of a reflection of Taupo than the Motel itself. Service was good, staff were all nice and responsive. The rooms are huge. We had a studio and twin...

Booked this motel as it is "4" star got into room, very disappointed. Over the four nights we stayed the room was serviced properly once, the phone jack was not screwed into the wall and there was a power point with only one screw holding it in. The shower was small old and dirty with mould at the top. The...

We stayed here on our way from Rotorua to Napier. Although the rooms are clean and spacious they are looking very tired. We were looking forward to using the spa but decided it was not worth the effort, it did look very tired and in need of a good clean. The bathroom too was in need of a good renovation,...

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here for a weekend. I agree with others that the decor looked dated, but we expected that for the price we paid for a room in Taupo with a spa pool in it. Taupo is pricey at any time of the year so we were very happy with the price. The room was...

booked the double room with jacuzzi. it was less than nzd 140 and its exellent for comming back from Tongariro Crossing. You dont wanna go outside, just cook yourself something in the great kitchen it has, plus little fridge and all you need, and then nothing but relaxing in the great jacuzzy music, and cold drinks! highly recommended, free parking...

I would not go back here it smelt of old cigarettes, the bathroom floor was rotting and lifting away from the dated shower, no bath mat provided, the spa window area was rotting surprised windows still in place, everything was dated, for the price it was not worth it at all, dirty and chipped dishes. This place needs a total...
