The beautifully maintained landscaped setting on the side of a hill leading down to a stream is fantastic. One could and we did, spend a lot of time sitiing on the terrace watching the bubbling stream or even chatting to the sheep [they tend to ignore visitors] The fact that the location is a few minutes out of the town centre...

Positives: 1. Apartment was very spacious, with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. 2. Everything was modern and clean. 3. King size, comfortable bed. 4. Location: away from the town centre, on a hill, next to a river, with views of Mt Taranaki. 5. Free WiFi. Negatives: 1. WiFi was very erratic. 2. Breakfast was not included in the room price....

Thank you Annie and Andrew! I travel for work often and try to stay in places that feel like my own little home. This place was beautiful! Far better than the pictures on the website. Beautiful scenery, close to town, instantly felt relaxed and welcome. The rooms are large, I stayed in a studio. I could hear and see the...

We stayed here for several nights in one of the apartment hotel style units down in the valley. The rooms are clean and modern and serviced every day to a very high standard. The entry corridor had a small wardrobe, a sink, a microwave, crockery, cutlery. a fridge and facilities for making tea and coffee. The large bathroom opened off...

We have just had the absolute pleasure of staying at One Burgess Hill for the second time after a 9 year hiatus. This time we came for a Close Family Friend's Father's Funeral. We did not hesitate to rebook as we had a wonderful experience on our first visit, so stayed for 2 days this time. Booked on Wotif and...

Loved our stay here. Boutique style accommodation with wonderful rural outlook, peaceful and quiet 5kms from the city which suited us fine. Lovely large super king bed and great spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was the noise generated from people walking around above and our bathroom rubbish bin had not...

Our 2 bedroom unit in New Plymouth was the perfect rest stop for us during our North Island trip. The bedrooms upstairs has windows overlooking the river below. The wood burning stove kept us warm after we had been out in the rain. We enjoyed a home cooked dinner prepared in the well equipped kitchen. The unit is serviced everyday...

Though only a short distance out of town, obviously car access would be best, but this is a brilliant accommodation, worth staying a week! The property embraces several blocks of units, all offering privacy and easy parking, located on a hill above the curve of a shallow, babbling stream, surrounded by and even including farm fields. Lambs were gambolling in...

We were impressed with the generous size of the beds and the room. Beautiful view overlooking fields, we went for morning walks and my little 2 year old loved running along the fence chasing the sheep and watching the river below. Great customer service, the man who works there (Andrew I think, sorry if I got that wrong) was always...
