Excellent property, beautiful view, delicious breakfast, extremely cordial hosts. Ken and Patricia were so helpful with advise and suggestions for local activities and sites. They treated us as if we were old friends. We were so fortunate to have found them. Couldn't be better!

We stayed one night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves--the hosts make the stay! We mistakenly booked one room for our family of four with two single beds--thankfully our hosts had another room available right next to it so we could all sleep comfortably. I enjoyed a run along the shores of the lake while the kids and dad slept in a...

We felt welcomed from the minute Chris greeted us when we arrived. The house and the gardens are beautiful and we loved watching morning arrive over Lake Rotorua. Chris and Dave were great guides to the area, recommending places and sights we would have missed. They ate breakfast with us and then reviewed the day's events when we came "home"...

Immediately we were welcomed by Chris, Dave and their friendly dog Cole. They made us feel like part of the family and although we were there just one night we were sad to leave. The view was breathtaking and the house amazing. Breakfast was very good, and the conversation and stories of the area helped us feel like natives.

Chris and Dave (and their lovely dog, Cole) are wonderful hosts. Their home and garden is beautiful with a great view of Lake Rotorua. The room we had is spacious and excellent, and the dinner & breakfast we had were both delicious.

My husband and I recently stayed at Panorama in the Mokoia room..which has fabulous full length windows giving great views over the lake..a wonderful sight to wake up to. A little known fact about the room is that Orlando Bloom slept in that room whilst making Lord of the Rings! Chris and Dave were so welcoming and very generous with...

We spent two nights here and despite the windows onto the corridor with Venetian blinds slept peacefully away from the centre of Rotorua. Our hosts could not have been more helpful with suggestions about our onward journey and what to see in Rotorua and around their attractive home overlooking the lake. If you don't mind the 10-minute drive to town...

Stayed here for 2 nights during the Christmas holidays and had a lovely time. Room was a bit exposed (large glass windows with non-blackout blinds) but clean, comfortable, and the rest of the areas are great. Breakfast was continental, and getting to chat with other visitors a plus. The parting gift of a piece of Christmas cake sent me off...

Friendly Chris and Dave provide a perfect and beautiful spot to relax after a long flight, with very comfortable and extremely clean accommodations and lovely breakfasts. The grounds and view are lovely. And take note on how convenient this location is to many area attractions. The six of us filled the bedrooms, so the atmosphere was one of family with...
