Great location on Lake Rotorua. All attractions in the area are close to you. Accommodation dated. Our unit had the bathroom between the bedroom and lounge area which is odd! Five star breakfast. Service average. Very expensive for what you get. Tennis court and row boats available if you are energetic. Lovely jetty. Tame swans come up to you for...

Welcomed by the owner on arrival . Very pleasant and warm. Showed us the basics of the place and subsequently our room. The accommodation layout was good . Building is appealing and mixture of quaint and colonial, plenty of tongue and groove type wall panelling throughout. I quite like it. But the building isn,t sure what it wants to portray....

Koura Lodge is a quality resort. Well manged, happy and helpful staff and its own unique ambience. Set in a beautiful corner of the lake it is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Rotorua. We had a 2 en-suite bedroom apartment (we were two couples) with a spacious lounge, satellite TV, kitchen area, comfortable seating, dinning table...

We had a 2 night stop here during a trip around New Zealand and stayed in a Lodge suite. The suite was fairly large but seemed a bit dark due to a huge amount of large, pine furniture. There were 2 bathrooms, (I think this was originally 2 rooms, but is now used as 1 larger suite,) but both were...

This is a boutique B&B with 2 great hosts (Gina and David) and a friendly lodge dog, Lenny! Once I arrived to check in, I met Becky who was extremely helpful with providing suggestions of activities and nearby sights as well as showing me around the lodge and all of its great amenities. She really helped me maximize my time...

This felt like heaven! We had the two bed room apartment which had fantastic views over the lake. The apartment was really big and very nicely furnished. There was a full kitchen - which we wanted as we like to cook local food - and if you like playing pool there was a full sized table. The balcony had glorious...

The lakefront location is stunning, with kayaks ready by the charming little beach. Sauna and spa pool right by the water's edge. The accomodation comfortable, cosy and impeccably clean. The cuppa and cake on our arrival were much appreciated. The tennis court in excellent condition. Breakfast delicious, satisfying and wholesome. A very warm and welcoming, personable place. I can't fault it.

Koura Lodge provides simple but comfortable accommodation in a small (8 rooms?) family-run hotel in a great location a few kilometres from the centre of Rotorua. Our room opened onto a lawn on the edge of Lake Rotorua. The hotel has kayaks, hot tub and sauna for the use of residents. There is a communal kitchen with fridge, tea making...

Stayed here for 2 nights. We arrived after 6pm and apparently reception closes at 6pm so they left our room key outside the building in an envelope, which was fine. To get to the room we went through a front door and down a long corridor with rooms to one side and a communal area with a sink and fridge...

A nice lodge, with comfortable room. Strange arrangement for bathroom (which was small) in the middle of the bedroom and dayroom. Shared terrace area, although each room had their own chairs and table outside room, but not really much privacy. Breakfasts ok
