Just spent the last two nights at the Lakeside Lodge. This is a cracking spot and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Rotorua area. Graham & Lyndsay have struck a great balance between hospitable hosts and giving guests space to relax and enjoy the wonderful views. The breakfast is cracking (best so far in NZ), the...

Lyndsay and Graham are very pleasant hosts. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a balcony facing the lake. They were helpful (and accurate) with suggestions and evaluations of places to dine and visit. Lyndsay's cooked breakfasts are a real treat, but don't miss her homemade yogurt and granola! The Lodge is located on a pretty lake and morning...

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay very much and would have liked to stay longer! Lindsay and Graham not only provided a very nice breakfast, but also gave very good advice about restaurants and sightseeing. They even helped to book a helicopter tour to White Island, where the helicopter came to the Lodge to pick the husband up.

Staying here was 1 of our favourite places after Taupo. The Views of the trout fishers and Rotorua was fabulous. We stayed 1 night at this lovely lodge, with a helpful family couple. They went above and beyond with refreshments and breakfast, cooking my partner a bacon sandwich (typical Yorkshire man). Spent ages talking over coffee and homemade Carrott cake...
