Stayed 2 nights in a 2 Br deluxe apartment. Location being about 20 mins from Rotorua central means a vehicle is needed. And you need to think about food and beverages as there are limited options locally. Master bedroom bed was comfortable. However, comfort would be enhanced by installing a topper pad/layer to give that extra luxury feel. Kitchen well...

Stayed here for 6 nights in June with the in laws who are members of Wydham vacations. Great location, approximately 20 minutes from Roturua itself. A car is a must if staying here, and consider shopping for your food and alcohol in town before checking in. There is a cafe on site however we did not visit. Stayed in the...

We booked this resort due to proximity to Rotorua center. Travel is about 15 mins to city centre. If you have a car and you wanted a quiet environment throughout your stay then this is the place for you. The rooms are spacious enough with all the cooking facilities you need. All rooms are individually equipped with a heater. Accommodation...

Too far out of town to be convenient could have done with a good inspection of the bugs in the lamp shade and not all the light bulbs worked. Not really a resort! ! If you stay give yourself 1/2 hour to get back into town and don't forget to take your own food.

This resort is in a lovely tranquil spot on the shores of Oahu Channel on Lake Rotorua. It is about 20 drive from the city centre but away from the hustle and bustle of Rotorua. It would be a great place to stay if you had a boat and enjoyed fishing especially over summer. My only crouch would be the...

Staff were wonderful. We were only here for two nights however staff helped us organise to see and do as much as we could in our short stay. We had a meal in the dining room which was lovely! The pool and spa were closed due to maintenance. Our two story chalet/boat house was on the canal. The view was...

The propery has no free wifi when it is a given that today wifie is equivalent to pen and paper. Liaght bulbs in 2 rooms were not working. Washing Machine was not working. Any of the two negatives are bad considering your star rating. Shame , shame and sheme........ Then while repairing the bulbs they open the windows and let...

Way out of town in the middle of nowhere. Comfortable facilities but you must pay high prices for WiFi. Lovely decking around the canal. Great fishing but high prices to hire rods etc. Best to bring your own. Place could use a lick of paint & kitchen & bathroom needs freshening up. lovely attentive staff. Car hire is a must.

This place is a dilapidated dump, and very poor accommodation -be warned! You would do better in a Backpackers! It is 20kms out of town - remote, inconvenient, isolated. There are quality Hotels in town at half the price. I could write a two page, single-spaced, urgent Maintenance list, just as a start. Lumpy beds and old pillows/bed linen, all...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Rotorua is truly like no other destination. It's a fascinating mix of culture, adventure and relaxation. Renowned for being a hotbed of thermal activity, Rotorua's hot springs and spas make it the perfect getaway for pampering, stress-release and rejuvenation. At the same time it's also a place where you can truly get the heart pumping. Adrenalin-raising adventures punctuate the Rotorua landscape from thrilling luge rides, white water rafting and even rolling down a hill in a giant translucent ball (zorbing). If all that's not enough for you, then you also have an area rich in Maori history and culture and friendly locals to walk you through it all. Located just 20 minutes outside the city to ensure your getaway is relaxing, WorldMark Resort Rotorua is the perfect base for whatever brings you to this simply wonderful area of New Zealand. With apartments sleeping 4-6 people in 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and lodges (utilising double sofa bed in living room), your stay will feel like your home-away-from-home. Located on the edge of the lake, the resort offers beautiful views right over the Ohau Channel. You can kayak your way back to your room or picnic at the parklands located right within the resort. If fishing is more your thing you'll be in heaven - the area is rich in fisheries and you'll be able to throw in a line from one of the various resort banks. The apartments include all modern conveniences, with the resort also boasting outdoor swimming pool, heated spa, gymnasium and a tennis court. ... more   less
