Our hosts Mick and Teresa received us with home-baked cakes and coffee, and were very friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Everybody staying at the B&B ended up having 5 pm drinks together, and most of us liked the atmosphere so much that we had no need to go out for dinner! The fact that the weather was...

Not only did we consider this to be a flawless five star B&B but you instantly feel that your hosts, Mick and Teresa, are truly not working. Rather, they thoroughly enjoy seeing you happy. From Mick's homemade liquors to Teresa's barnyard animals and collecting eggs for breakfast, their day is a true vacation for both them and all of those...

Mick & Teresa runs 1 of the best B&B that we have ever stayed in. Lovely, welcoming hosts and extremely good with the kids too. They helped us arrange our activities in Rotorua and recommended places to eat that were spot on! Teresa left homemade little treats for us throughout the day that were so delicious and sustained us after...

We stayed for a few days nearing the end of a two week holiday (more of an extended layover), the B&B was perfect! Awesome breakfast, great room and the hosts were very helpful (in picking from the millions of activities nearby!). Now we're trying to find a way to go back and spend more time there!

Seriously, my experience staying with Mick and Teresa made me want to open my own B&B one day. The couple not only enjoy having visitors, but also LOVE having guests around, and hospitality is obviously just a part of their daily life. It didn’t bother us much that we stayed at the Mokoia Downs Estate during cold and rainy winter...

Have to say this is the best b&b you can find. The host is very helpful and make you feel right at home. As other reviews the breakfast is so good left us have not much room for lunch everyday. My 3 years old daughter had a wonderful time with the animals. And I have to say Teresa is so...

Rotorua was our final destination and our stay with Mokoia Downs estate B &B was indeed the most unforgettable experience. Our daughters had a wonderful time feeding the farm animals as well as doing the treasure hunt which was arranged within the 5 1/2 acre property. They also chilled out eating popcorn and watching a movie at the home theatre....

My husband and I stayed in the garden room for two nights in May, and we were truly impressed with Mick and Teresa's genuine hospitality, fantastic breakfast (!!!), comfortable rooms, and friendly pet animals. I wasn't sure what to expect reading the reviews, as the place sounded just too good to be true - but my experience really exceeded expectations....

Mick an Therese really care. You immediately feel at home when you come to Mokoia Downs. Mick and Therese really take care and make you feel at home. This is a wonderful place which is a couple of kilometers outside Rotorua so you have to drive in order to get to Rotorua or any other toristic place. On the other...
