Thank you Ian The stay was perfect for my grandparents trip to New Zealand. They thoroughly enjoyed the stay and thought the room was wonderful. Thor and I thought it was great as it felt like a home away from home. It allowed us to cook and eat as a family. The apartment was filled with beautiful paintings that made... More

My wife and I stayed for three nights, our room was well appointed and very comfortable. We enjoyed a fantastic time seeing and doing things in and around Rotorua, thanks to some great suggestions from Ian. We were actually present in the adjacent unit when the guests describing the owner as 'dodgy' arrived and were awoken to their intoxicated abusive... More

I booked this accommodation through a booking site. We had a late arrival which the owner was informed of. Once we arrived the owner informed us that if we wanted the room he wanted 200 dollars extra as he had had another offer. Booking was made 2 months in advance so owner had pleanty of time to contact us prior... More

We (my husband, I and our 8 yr old) stayed at the two bedroom apartment for 4 nights and I must say this was one of the most comfortable stay we have experienced during our three week visit to NZ. The owner was warm, courteous, friendly, and very helpful - he gave us some great tips of scenic drives, activities... More

I am a regular guest at Atsala Apartments when in Rotorua, mountain biking. I am horrified at seeing the outrageous feedback that 'raspberry jellyfish' has posted on the Trip Advisor site. The lawns are manicured professionally and there is no dog excrement lying around as the courtyards are totally sealed from the street and there are no animals permitted on... More

I stayed with my husband and toddler and found it a horrifying experience. The owner Ian came to our ranch slider by the lounge rather than the back door at all hours for many unnecessary reasons so that I began to feel very stalked. The light was on in the basement underneath all through the night and cracks of light... More

I have no idea who this person is or even exists and I have never accomodated a Rasberry Jelly Fish -Perhaps she needs to return to the ocean as I doubt they would survive here in Rotorua More

After two weeks of touring both the North and South Islands we came to Rotorua. Little did we know what a fantastic four nights awaited us at Atsala Apartment stay. Our room was warm and cosy and had all the modern conveniences so we could do our own washing and cooking. The host, Ian could not have been more accomodating... More

This is my fifth or sixth time I stayed at this premise while visiting Rotorua. I really enjoy the my stay every time. I always try to get into Redwood room, as it has carter as well as luxury. The unit slept 5 people, which suited our family with three children. The motel unit was a good base for our holiday in Rotorua, close to the Redwood forests and Whakarewarewa. The owner Ian was very attentive and friendly.
