One of best things about this facility is the close proximity to the falls and river which give a great ambiance. The second is the pool which is large, clean and well laid out. Unfortunately that's where the good points stop. We were camping and thought the facilities (kitchen, bathrooms etc.) were all quite old which can sometimes be ok...

Amazing location! So wonderful falling asleep listening to the falls. The pool, chess and trampoline were all great entertainment for both kids and adults. Kitchen was great and clean. However, bathrooms were dirty, lights burnt out, no water at times, toilets closed at times. Garbage from campers left sitting on the grass for days. Kitchen was hardly ever open. Lights...

Hururu Falls Resort view is really nice place but never judge book from cover. We booked 2 premium rooms and when we entered in, it was fish smell and lots of insects near to Kitchen and bathroom. Coffee mugs were not cleaned and major things is we stayed for 2 nights and next day room service, they changed bed sheet,...

The staff were very helpful, friendly & accommodating ;0) The room clean & very big, especially for the price! The family atmosphere, along with the children's play equipment & especially the Ducks that eat from your hand turned our original 2 night stay into a 5 night stay ;0) The only downfall was an internet issue, which is being addressed...

We have just completed a motor home tour of both Nth and Sth Islands of NZ. Our last evening was at Haruru Falls Resort. A great find and a beautifully tranquil venue on the waterfront looking at the waterfalls infront of our camping site. The amenities and staff were exceptional and we couldn't of finished our holiday in a better...

What a wonderful stay we had. Jan was a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble for her. The grounds and facilities were wonderful. The views of the falls fantastic, especially at night when the lights shone down on them. My dog was welcome and that was great too. Would definitely come stay again

We are just back in Scotland from touring Bay of islands and stayed at Harura Falls. It is such a peaceful and relaxing location. The views are amazing and the sound of the waterfall just magic. Jan was so helpful from organising and booking trips to recommending an excellent restaurant even finding our route through Auckland to our next hotel....

If you want peace, quiet and serenity. If you want to relax listening to the sound of water falling and the view of a majestic waterfall. If you don't need your cell phone or any other technological contraptions. If you don't require reception 24/7. Then this is the place!! Sit back, relax and let the world pass you by.

I recently hired the conference room for a day seminar and was impressed with the facilities. Jan was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had Jan supply the morning tea and lunch and the participants were impressed by the quality of the food. There was also plenty of places to park cars.
