The accommodation was thoughtfully appointed with comfortable beds, a powerful shower and a well equipped kitchen area. The view from the terrace of unit 8 was incredible and it was very peaceful. We had several lovely evenings on the sheltered terrace and used the guest barbecue. We did not try the pool but it looked clean and well maintained. The...

We stayed here in a studio for three nights late February almost at the end of our New Zealand trip. The welcome, help, advice and service were excellent and the room (3) had a view which was unsurpassed by anything else we'd seen. The room was spotless, kitchen and bathroom well equipped and though not five star designer furnishings had...

We would like to thank Norm and Shelagh at Cook's Lookout Motel, Paihia for their excellent hospitality during our 4 night stay with them. We stayed in the Studio with a tremendous view overlooking the Bay and Islands and the Waitangi Treaty grounds, just like the photo in their advertising. The comfortable motel is conveniently located only 4 minutes drive...

Norm and Shelagh at Cooks Lookout did a fantastic job of looking after us. Upon arrival we were given a choice of...

This is a nice place with beautiful views of the bay of islands. Being outside of the centre on a hill you are rewarded with quiet views. Rooms are well fitted and the shower dome is quite interesting. There is a pool as well.

This was one of the best motels we stayed in during our 3 week tour of New Zealand. We stayed in a room at the very top of the property with the most amazing views. Our room was quiet, really spacious, and very comfortable. The owners, Norm and Shelagh were very friendly, realy chatty and really helpful. They gave us...

Although only here for 2 nights you couldn't of wished to meet two charming people. Easy to get on with and very informative of the area and what's on in not only the Bay but outlining areas. The views are worth the every penny of staying here. The heated pool was a god send after travelling for 4 hours from...
