All the rooms are sea facing with good views, obviously, the higher the better. The Hotel is bright, clean with plenty of parking and a helpful check in staff. We didn't eat in so can't comment on the food options. Overall, though, a good value choice. Unfortunately, when we stayed on a Monday in March, the town appeared to be...

This hotel has fantastic sea views from the upper floors. Very helpful reception and housekeeping personnel, great location for all the town's amenities and really comfortable modern rooms. Great for travelers as there are on site laundry facilities and complimentary parking for guests. The hotel is cleverly designed so that all rooms are ocean facing. A wonderful 2 night stay.

My wife and I stayed for two nights. There is ample parking facilities. Our room on the fourth floor was comfortable but nothing special. We were disturbed by constant road noise and doors banging. The breakfast was average at best with the usual tinned fruit and cereals. Why hotels cannot supply fresh fruit for breakfast when it is supplied in...

Great location, helpful staff, good views and varied breakfast options. However was let down by a bathroom that was dated and needed improved cleaning. Grout was dirty. Front desk helped with restaurant selection and parking. Just needs attention to some detail to make it a very good hotel

Very comfortable room with a view of the ocean. Parking is not a problem and within easy walking distance of the city shops and restaurants. Napier is a quaint "art deco" city which was a joy to visit. Recommend one of the walking tours with a guide from th Art Deco Centre.

The hotel is situated on the main road but we did not experience any road noise, it is opposite the sea front and all rooms face towards the sea but sadly there is building work on this side of the road which when completed will obscure any view. The rooms are clean and modern, staff friendly, there is also a...

excellent location just minutes walk to town. Fabulous views from all rooms, looking out to the walkways which are at present being remodeled and out to sea. At night the huge trees alight with colored lights, very pretty. good size room with 2 queen beds, tea/coffee making/fridge. large bathroom. room clean and tidy, only sight set back is guests returning...

Scenic Hotel Te Pania is well positioned in the heart of Napier and is short walking distance to the main shopping area, cafes and restaurants. The rooms have stunning views of the sea and are well maintained. Staff were friendly and made the short stop-over visit very comfortable.

This is a modern hotel overlooking the seafront but unfortunately, development right opposite the hotel means that the sea is difficult to see! The rooms were reasonably large and well maintained. The restaurant let the hotel down. Maybe, we hit a bad day but we waited over 40 minutes for our main course to be served up (we were not...

Had two nights in this hotel. Modern building with rooms facing the sea. Room was tired with marks on the carpet and chairs, although it was a good size. Unluckily there was on-going construction across the street and the road was very busy night and day. Lack of common social area meant the hotel lacked atmosphere although it was well...
