We spent two nights at Nautilus on our way to Wellington. The room was spacious with a view across Marine Parade to the sea. Sadly the weather was not the best. We enjoyed being able to cater for ourselves in our room. However the restaurant in the hotel would suit some. I left my laptop behind the staff were quick...

Having a separate bedroom was rather lovely. It meant that we could just relax without having to sit on the bed for a chair/seat. We cooked in the little kitchenette which was ok but it was right in the entrance way. Free wifi that was more than we needed.

This hotel is in a great location, being walking distance to the main streets of town and a stones throw to the beachfront. The room itself was roomy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. Great wifi. We would stay here again, highly recommended.

Heard great things about this place and certainly did not disappoint at all. The waiter was a young Russian lad very efficient and friendly. Food was excellant 10/10. Service 8/10. Bathroom 8/10 perhaps a mirror on the wall....to check ya lippy! Just a hint... stop apologizing for the wait time- there was no wait honestly everything was excellent. I was...

Nice modern facilities. Friendly helpful staff. Close to attractions. Nice restaurant. Good value for money. Near the beach and the Aquarium. Of all the accommodation we stayed at for our North NZ holiday this was by far the best.

This is a spacious and warm motel on Marine Parade. We had a view of Cape Kidnappers which was great on a clear day. Good clean kitchen facilities to self cater and helpful staff with an onsite restaurant. Only downside was that it was a longish walk into town but not a major issue on a nice day.

We checked out the room and asked the price for that night. In the winter don't be afraid to turn up in this location with no booking, lots of places had vacancies. We had a side seaview room with jet bath and a huge double bed and a room with twin beds. Nice location, decent rooms, they have a restaurant...

Along the Marine Drive overlooking Hawkes Bay this is an ok place but not my style. The rooms are a good size with a big comfortable bed. There is a huge spa bath next to the bed. Many other reviewers liked having the spa bath and it seems to be very popular in New Zealand. If there has to be...

Had two nights here. The good things - free parking, free wifi, looking over the ocean, large spa bath in bedroom. Other stuff - a touch tired, poky little kitchen, a bit of a walk into town, had to pay extra to upgrade room with view over ocean. Overall quite good for what we paid. With a plethora of accommodation...
