What an amazing place to stay! I have stayed with family several times now and it is a favourite of ours. We went to the Christmas in the Park so this was directly opposite the Auckland Domain. The rooms are clean, tidy and have a homely feel. We were fortunate enough to get an upgrade from a family studio to...

Walking distance to Museum, hospital, University, AUT etc, secure/free parking facilities - happy for car to be left there following day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Two computers available just off reception area (also internet free to use anywhere in building) Didn't hear any traffic noise. One of the cleanest rooms I've stayed in.

It's like an old peoples home. Incredibly dated decor, circa 1980 I know it's a cancer society property and its in a brilliant location for the hospital but it would benefit from an update. I hadnt seen a shower over a bath in years until I stayed here. It was nice and quiet and there are excellent communal kitchen facilities,...

Fabulous friendly staff, clean rooms, enjoyable stay😃 This accommodation often isn't available as the main purpose is to house people and their families receiving treatment for cancer. It's not advertised on booking sites but is situated opposite the Auckland Domain and opposite Auckland Hospital. It is quiet with beautiful grounds.

Stayed here with my husband and daughter while visiting a relative in hospital. Would recommend. Staff helpful, room tidy, clean and quiet. Although our room didn't have any breakfast making facilities (just kettle) .. so you might want to check what your room will have in it (as breakfast options apart from the hospital cafés are a bit limited on...

We really enjoyed our family stay here. We had self contained unit with two bedrooms and living space with kitchenette. There are also rooms that dont have a kitchen. Well equipped, clean shared kitchen like in backpackers are available for these guests. It's mostly used by hospital patients and families. The garden area is beautiful. the central location was perfect.

We've stayed here several times now. We love the central location, the fact that secure parking is included in the tariff, the friendly staff and the fact that we are supporting the Cancer Society when we stay. Last time we stayed it was very hot and humid so we left the balcony door open- which meant we did hear quite...

Right next to the hospital and is primarily for patients families for which it works well. Not a normal hotel/motel so read more on their website. We found it clean tidy quiet and handy to the hospital. Not cheap but hopefully any profits are going to the cancer society .

My wife and I travelled to Auckland to attend the latest Cirque du Soleil (Quidam) performance, which was on at Vector Arena and once again we contacted Domain Lodge to book in. Since my last visit I have had a left leg amputation, so the facilities were doubly required for my comfort. Domain Lodge has every room set up for Wheelchairs...

This lodge is run by the Cancer Foundation so your stay helps support this great cause and assists families needing these facilities who live outside the Auckland region. The lodge is across the road from Auckland Museum, walking distance to Newmarket and with regular buses across the road into the city you can leave your car parked in the securely...
