I have this title, as although I didn't mind this place, I also would not be in a rush to return. The location in my opinion is horrible, not really central and hard to access due to its position amoungst uni accommodation. If you are a student or young, then this would be perfect for you! Rooms were satisfactory, but...

The location is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. A lot of rooms for improvement such as Cracks on wall, leaking toilet need fixing, range hood is not working, no air conditioning, some rooms are equipped with a portable fan OR heater, bring your own rubbish to garbage room, WIFI and carpark are available at additional charge. Its...

The room was incredibly reasonable (+/- NZ$250 for 2 nights), and it was clean and in a great location (near the art gallery, K Road and Queen Street). It was a single room with a little kitchenette with 3 single beds. The middle single was lower than the other two (so no chance of pushing them together to make a...

The premises is very low standard. Rooms are more like a backpackers standard, and do not remotely represent the pictures that are advertised. Facilities in the rooms are basic, in poor condition, and look as though they have never been cleaned. The rooms are pretty much just bad. After the first night, we were moved because of the original room...

Extremely disappointing. Booked a 2 bedroom apartment for family of 5. Was quite clear that we would need an extra bed, and paid $35 a night for the "extra" person. Arrived to find beds for 4 people only, and was told it would cost an extra $35 per night for a trundle! Only provided with crockery and cutlery for 4,...

Location in a walkable distance from downtown. Our apartment was clean and relatively spacious with a living room, a bedroom, a small kitchenette corner, bathroom with a wash machine and a dryer. No safe in the room. Just a limited free WiFi. No restaurant and no breakfast facility. Payment requested at arrival, not before check out.

This hotel is just above back packer standard. Staff are friendly but reception times are limited and even trying to call reception on a Sunday they were not available all day. Linen is changed every 3 days if you are on top of it. Daily room service consists of topping up teas etc, changing towels ( the obvious) as for...

We did not do our homework when booking this hotel. We relied on mainly favourable comments. Staying at the Crown your options are: 1) open the window since there is no aircon but then you can't sleep because of the constant noise from the highway and construction on a building next door or 2) leave the door and windows closed...

Best feature is location. Queen street, harbor and Albert Park are within 10 min walking distance. Auckland Domain (museum): 20 min. The family apartment is very spacious, clean and fully equipped with shower and kitchen amenities. Beds are more comfortable than my own. That coming from a 2-meter tall guy. My only complaint is that free WiFi is provided only...

This place was such a surprise. Super handy with a lovely room within an easy walk to Queen Street. It would be a fantastic place to stay for the tennis in January - about 10 mins walk down the hill to ASB Arena.
