We had a great time at Nomads Auckland. The location was perfect and it accommodated for absolutely everything we needed while we were there. Rooms were clean and well maintained, couldn't ask for any more.
Too noisy in the bedroom.
The hand dryer was next to my bedroom, which was on at 6 am waking everybody up. Trust me, very noisy.

Too crowdy, too loud (the bar), too old, bathrooms very dirty, kitchen far too small so many people for just a bit of space. Kitchen was filthy. Building is so old, windows wouldn't shut properly. Only the location is great. It's expensive and staff wasn't...More
This hostel is infested with bed bugs. They will get into your bags, your clothes, anything. It is NOT worth the risk especially if you can't afford dry cleaning for hard-case luggage and backpacks too large to fit into dryers.

I can't see the above question but I can tell you there is a shuttle from airport that takes you to the top of Queen St, you can then swap, for no extra charge, onto another bus to get you closer to the hostel. They're really nice and will tell you when to get off. They have left luggage but I'm unsure if there is a charge.

There are shuttles to the airport every 10 minutes at heaps of stops down Queen street, the bus stop will be labelled with airport express and the buses are blue. Cost is $16 one way and it takes you direct to the airport. If you are catching the shuttle from the airport into town the bus stop is just left of the exit door at the domestic arrivals terminal. Check in time is 2pm at the hostel but if you arrive early there is a place to keep your bags while you explore! Hope this helps!
