Old worn out rooms. Needs some sound deadening as I could hear every word of the conversation in the neighboring room. Loud traffic noise. No restaurant or bar. The bed only had a sheet and a throw which was totally inadequate for winter. No heating only a fan that blew cold air. The bathroom wasn't much better, Tiny shower over...

First of all, this is a hotel at one of the best locations in downtown Auckland for being close to everything: the Viaduct entertainment district is five minutes walk, the central bus and train station is about seven minutes walk, Skycity casino and entertainment centre around five minutes walk too, as is Queen Street, the city's main road. Staff were...

Got the room on one of those package deal websites so was no more than an average motel room. It felt like a typical small town motel also. Room was ok, although everything was pretty worn. No blankets, just a sheet and spread so was cold at night. Car park was $30 with go and return perks. The reception needed...

My stay here started wonderfully after being told, 'sorry sir we can't check you in even though your work have pre-paid your room', because I don't own a credit card. Then staff decided to be rather difficult and unwilling to compromise on a solution. My colleague and I finally managed to come up with a solution but at great expense...

Service: Rude, incompetent and genuinely unpleasant. Room quality: Poor, my 'bed' was two singles pushed together with a king bedspread - I could feel the ridges where the beds joined in the middle and if you tried to sleep near the middle.. the two mattresses would start to push apart beneath you. Location & amenities: No carpark, taps dripped all...

It's a pretty average hotel, the bonus, and only reason to stay as fat as I'm concerned, is that it's close to the airport. The shower was the worst I've ever had in a hotel by far, it would go from scalding to ice cold every few seconds, there is no way you can enjoy that thing! I had a...

There is a reason work calls this place the Last Resort Hotel. Not only is it tired looking but everything creaks and there are strange smells. The hot water doesn't work in the shower. The staff at the front counter are nice enough.
