I needed a one night hotel in Auckland before leaving for my late-in-the-day flight. The Heritage was excellent: the staff super helpful, and my breakfast in the restaurant delicious. The location of the hotel, central to downtown Auckland, allowed me to walk to the Auckland Art museum that morning. The hotel stored my luggage, free of charge, arranged for my...

This hotel in Auckland was to me a 4 star. Great location, very large room with plush towels and a real kitchen! Very clean and very quiet. Pick a room on the 5th floor for the best views! Loved this hotel and would stay her again!

My only complaint: the duvet covers were so noisy. It was like sleeping in paper. My family and I stayed in a room together and we kept each other up every time we rolled over. Apart from that, great hotel.

The Heritage Apartments are our preferred choice for staying in central Auckland, and this was not the first time I have stayed there. Consistently courteous service, well appointed rooms, tastefully understated decor, excellent amenities and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The hotel restaurant is a cut above the average hotel restaurant in NZ, delicious...

We stayed in a family suite in the hotel part of heritage, accessed from Hobson street. The room was advertised as having two double beds, but we asked whether we could have one queen and two single beds, and this was possible, which was appreciated so our kids could have a bed each. The room was more than sufficient for...

This place is great. The hotel is modest to elegant. However, the service was off the charts. William was exceptional! Very welcoming, helpful, happy, and all in all great at making us feel like we had arrived at home. He definitely made our experience there extra special. The rooms are very comfortable. Ours had a kitchenette with everything needed for...

Stayed for two days for a brief work visit to Auckland. Hotel is undergoing refurbishment (noticeable from the outside); but no problems once inside. Rooms are very spacious, and contain kitchen facilities (Fridge, Stove and Dishwasher). 5 minute walk to SkyCity and Queen Street; 15 minute walk to Auckland Hospital.

Rooms are quaint being a converted department store now a hotel. Some of the rooms have wooden poles in them which adds to the character, and the internal rooms face into the atrium. Good location. Very good service.

The Heritage is a bit 'tired' but it's OK. The rooms aren't bad & mine was quite a good size. The staff seemed quite good in all areas & get a tick for being helpful. BUT, my bed sagged something terrible and there was a really bad smell in the bathroom that I assume came from the drains and smelled...

Much larger room than I expected, I was very comfortable. Nice think curtains for a good sleep. Not noisy but so central i could walk everywhere I needed to go. Staff were friendly and helped with my huge amount of luggage. I enjoyed the spa pool.
