Arrived in Auckland from the UK via Dubai. Managed to stay up despite not sleeping on the planes until a reasonable bedtime hour and fell into the comfiest bed I had ever slept in. Slept solid until morning and woke refreshed and ready to get on with our holiday. Fabulous start.

3 day stay in Auckland. Hotel is situated close to Sky Tower and tourist bus stop for both tours. Hotel was comfortable and room furnished well. We arrived early as we had just finished cruise. The rooms are not released until mid PM, however they did securely store our luggage.

This hotel needs to relocate at least one set of power strips so that it could actually be on the desk… The way it is right now as you can see in the photo you have to basically use your phone on the floor because there’s nothing at the desk level. And you have to move furniture

Had a great stay. Perfect for our two kids with the heated roof top swimming pool and spa pool with flashing rainbow lights and bubbles. Great how it is so close to Queen St, and also Myers Park (playground for kids). The issue I had is the parking at the hotel - $45 for one

It is a large, old-fashioned style hotel, with well-trained and helpful staff. We had a rather large room with a kitchenette, and a bathroom with washer and dryer. Unfortunately there was a leak from the bathroom and into the hallway which made the floor wet and the carpet

Do you have parking? Is so, what is the price?
Yes they do have parking the cost is $25 if it is not part of a room package. I have not had any problems and no extra cost no matter how many times they get the vehicle for you

what all categories of rooms have a harbour view ? does queen room have it
We didn’t have a harbour view, there are 2 parts of the hotel so not sure about the other side of the hotel, advise asking when booking.

What's the email address of Heritage Auckland hotel?
Our paperwork does not show a postcode, only a post box number 105-326. Their address is 35 Hobson street (towards the bay end) so very central for shops, restaurants as well as easy walking distance of the ferries and trains. Taxi drivers know it, but if the postcode is important to you suggest you email them directly. If you stay, don't forget to have breakfast there.

"Some views have views out to the harbour. Ours was facing the inner atrium which meant is was a bit dark but beautifully quiet for sleep."
"Rooms facing internal courtyard are lacking in natural light"
"Tower wing usually a bit quieter"
"Best if your room is not too close to the elevators. That area can be noisy."
"Rooms on the south side are much quieter"
