I have stayed at the Acapulco several times when in Auckland for business. I have always found it to be clean and comfortable with friendly owners and staff. On occasion, there have been minor faults, eg. a blown light bulb, but these have been dealt with in a timely manner when I have pointed them out. I applaud the owners...

Very clean motel with excellent facilities for the price. Location cannot be better, just off Ponsonby Rd with its bars and restaurants but also within walking distance to the CBD. Helpful staff means we would not hesitate to stay again if we required a high level of accommodation, at the right price in the right, central, location. Dan, Leeds, UK

My wife, brother-in-law and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our New Zealand holiday. This was the 15th place we stayed in, and was the most run-down. We have just spent a week at the Acapulco Motel in Herne Bay, Auckland, New Zealand. While this motel offered family accommodation they were certainly not keen on families and complained about the fact that we had children with us the whole time we were there.
