I had booked a 3 bed mixed dorm & was informed on check in that there were no 3 beds left but had now been upgraded to a 2 bed. So far so good. I was a bit apprehensive that I was staying with a male stranger but he was very friendly. There was free wifi all over the hostel,...

The atmosphere at the Hostel was pretty strange. There were two older guys sitting in front of the TV the whole day. The bathrooms were not clean and the breakfast was very basic, only toast, peanut butter and jam. The double room was not so nice, only a bed in a room. However, the hostel was centerally located, so you...

Really friendly people. You feel like you're full of friends. Good service as well. Everything in there's clean. Central location, close to museums, cbd, beach, zoo, pubs, supermarket, etc. The staff is always available to give you information.

We spent our first 4 nights in NZ here and it's worth mentioning first that it is located directly on the route the airport shuttle bus takes! This was particularly handy for us as our flight arrived at 1am. Not only is the location very central but I found the area really cool with lots of funky cafes/bars and thrift...

I stayed here for 3 nights to do the CBD and explore. Was a great place. Nice and small so was it was quiet and peaceful but still enough people the socialise. There are free decent computers to use aswell as free wifi and bread and spread for breakfast and free tea/coffee all day. K road is a lively and...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here one night on a stop over. The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were nice and bed was very comfy. Good location not to far from where all the action happens. If you are coming from the airport or going back to it get the airbus it stops across the road from the hostel...

We stayed in a double room for a few days and it was fine ( not too small, comfy bed, TV on the wall,...), only down side of the room was that the window openned onto a wall ( no view at all and very little light). Also the walls were very thin and room close to the kitchen and...

At the end of our stay in NZ we lodged 1 night in a 2 person bedroom. It was clean, small and shared bathroom. The location is great if you have to catch the bus to the Airport because it's only 1 minute walk from the bus stand. Also walking downtown takes you only about 15 minutes. Downstairs is a...

I arrived in Auckland, tired and burdened with my overpacked backpack and luggage. I took the bus shuttle to K Road, got off at the right stop, climbed a steep pavement to the location (146 Karangahape Road, Newton, Auckland) and was not surprised to see a narrow door, leading up a steep staircase to a hole in the wall reception...

Free wifi wasn't the strongest, but still nice. Free breakfast was bread and a couple spreads. Locations is ok, not far from the airbus stop, but a long hill walk from most coach bus services. The deck is good area to chill and meet people.
