Firstly what was not stipulated clearly upfront is that when we turned up with our rental car there was nowhere to park (limited one hour spot out front only) and you have to pre-book to use hotel carpark at $20 per night - the ad says "self parking" which we thought mean "no valet parking" - not good for a... We stayed for three weeks at the Waldorf St Martins for work purposes and it was definitely not somewhere we would recommend to people coming to visit Auckland, especially if you were expecting 4 star level of accommodation. Firstly to be fair the PROs: - Close enough to the city (30 minute walk to Britomart, 10-15 minute walk to Queen... More

I recently stayed at the Waldorf whilst attending a conference, it was reasonably priced for such a good location - about 10 mins walk from the Uni. We booked a car park and I have to say that whilst it was great to have, getting in and out was quite scary as it is a steep decline and has tight... More

Recently attended a conference at AUT and the family tagged along, clean room and friendly staff. Surprising comfy beds (this is always our issue with too lumpy, too hard and too soft beds). Easy walking location to many places.

We stayed in 2 bedrooms apartment and were there for 5 nights , the rooms are alright, but the wardrobe is really tiny for two bedrooms apartment. We understand that this is a serve apt so we do not expect much for the housekeeping service, however, we were supposed to have one on Wednesday but they have missed it. I... More

We stayed at St Martins Waldorf apartments on a very busy Xmas week for a family reunion. The staff were very helpful, first we arrived very early, 10am, from a very long flight from UK, we asked if there was any chance of checking in and fully expecting a big fat 'no' but being so exhausted I thought it was... We booked this hotel for the duration of a course that I was attending at Auckland University for two weeks. The room was booked to accommodate myself, my husband, our 11month old daughter, and my mother. There were two bedrooms but one had no window and there was not enough room in either room for a cot. We enquired about... More

The Apartment is in a good location. The room looks new and clean. It's a walking distance to the city central. Staff is not that helpful. We book the apartment 7 months in advance and request for a room with good view for the new year eve. They told us they can't do it until we arrive. Once we arrive,... More

Had a comfortable stay at St. Martians with a family of 9. Great location a 15 minute walk to city centre and a bit further to the harbour. Stayed on level 16 (be sure to allow time for travelling up and down the lift as it can take a while) which was much hotter than the lower levels but in... More
