Not a great place. The permanent residents can be very intimidating, mostly homeless folk. The reception staff were abrupt and unfriendly. Half an hour of free wifi (enough time to book another hostel). Air con was on all night and left me feeling very unwell in the morning. Reception refused to give our $20 key deposits back because we left luggage...

Not a friendly welcome. Bad smells of cigarettes, nicotine, dust and sweat. The proprietor complained openly about the cleanliness - not a great start. There is no cash point and you need to give cash for your key deposit. I was given a room number but no directions. I finally took directions from one of the homeless people staying at...

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was disappointing. The reception staff I found unfriendly and not helpful. We were told we were in room 8 but not told where the room was. There was also no lift so we had to carry very heavy luggage upstairs. I had to go to the cash machine to get $20 out...

I spend a week in this hostel and there is a long list of things that were not ok with it: - toilets/bathrooms apparently never cleaned (someone puked under the toilet seat on my first night. It stayed like this for the following 3 days) - dormitories cleaned once a week (and you are asked to leave the room with...

We stayed here 1 week and at first glance it didn't seem to bad but as the week went on it got worse. The young girl on reception was rude and with a attitude out of this world and not very helpful when asking to purchase a drink or ask about information it was if I was asking for the...

We stayed there a few nights! We where welcomed by a lovely receptionist (I think it was Fiona) she made it her mission to help us with anything we needed! The room was all we needed with an bathroom on the side! Was in good location from train station, Perth arena and CBD!

Very nice staff. The receptionist was lovely. A few maintenance and cleanliness concerns but overall a fairly nice place. Would like to have seen the pool open for use. I would quite happily stay there again.
