Stayed here Feb-2013 to May-2013. Received an email from an ex-roomy that it may be closing, so thought I'd do what i've put off until now. Location is good, very central, lots of bars close by. Can be a bit dodgey after sunset. Price is about the norm for Perth. I stayed in a four bed, plenty of room, locker...

We have stayed in a fair few hostels, and my rating bears in mind that this isn't a hotel. However, this hostel was below par. We stayed in a private double. The bed matress was old and very uncomfortable and the bedding not clean. The bathrooms were also not kept clean. There is also a lot of noise at night...

I'm not a fan of hostels but in my time in Australia I'd no choice as private rooms are too expensive. I stayed in Perth 4 months and this was the best place I stayed in. Good atmosphere around the place, the bar is good fun at werkends. Friendly staff, good big kitchen, and comfortable enough rooms as far as hostels...

The hostel is not that dirty or so but there was a cockroach or two running around the room. The facilities were nice with a swimming pool, tv rooms and a well equipped kitchen. The hostel is not over-expensive. No BYO in the hostel and the drinks were a bit to expensive to my taste. On the positive side, the...

I was surprised to stay in a hostel that had quite a high standard for cleanliness (stayed in a few god awful places across Australia), everyday without fail the cleaners arrived and emptied the bins and hoovered the floors, the kitchen was spotless everytime I was in there and the bathrooms were basically powerhosed down everyday! I cannot fault them...

I recently spent 2 nights here and probably won't be back. While it looks nice and is clean, there are a few things I didn't like. Firstly, there are no rooms with private ensuite, only shared bathrooms, which is surprising considering a 4 bed dorm is $33/night, which I consider to be on the more expensive end of the scale...

Having never stayed in a backpackers previously,I was very hesitant to stay at first,I along with my girlfriend were planning to see Pink perform at the Perth Arena and so wanted somewhere to stay that was both cheap, but not nasty, clean and close to local restaurants and most importantly close to the arena,as I was using crutches for a recent major...

Was a long termer here as I had been working in Perth for 4 months. It's a pretty decent place. Well equipped, clean and desirably located. I chose it because, of all the hostels I had seen/heard about in the city, it seemed to be the most livable. It is pretty expensive (I was paying 29 a night), but in...

On arrival, you feel like you are annoying the people at the reception from whom I never seen a smile. They have a free breakfast meaning that you get free cereal but if you need milk with it, it is $3. You also need to give a $5 deposit to receive the cutlery in the kitchen, which you have to...
