Basic 3 star in our opinion. Room had an air conditioner placed on a bench as ducted air was obviously not working. Evening meal in bar unacceptable due to noisy, swearing patrons. Desperately needs a makeover.

When we checked in we discovered that we had booked two doubles , rather than a double and a twin, I asked if it was possible to change, but was informed no all the twins were booked, this was without checking the system. We had a large amount of luggage, and my mother has reduced mobility, but there was no...

So it's an older hotel. That's ok the price was what we wanted. The system they use for booking and checkin doesn't do you any favours what so ever. We booked 2 rooms for 2 couples and I can't be sure but it seems that's where the troubles began ! Slow process with very poor understanding of our stay time...

I agree with the previous review. This is not a four star hotel. The positives:- the room I was in was large and comfortable. The bed was comfy too. Overall it was as clean as it could be given the aged fittings. Location is good, with some good restaurants across the road. The negatives:- The air conditioner blows arctic regardless...

If this was a 3 star hotel I'd be ok with it...... but I don't know where the 4 star rating came from. Old, tired, un-unformed and inexperienced staff, and overall shabby rooms in need of some good maintenance. Some positives were that the rooms are large and the linen is very good !

It is in the CBD so that's a plus, the only one. Stayed for 4 nights as it was convenient for a meeting. One of the 2 lifts did not work and the other's level indicator was not working. The air conditioner was so noisy I turned it off. It was not really working anyway. The sliding window in my...

We stayed on 15-16 Nov 15. The room was clean and cool, although a little dated. The A/C temperature didn't seem to be accurate (still cool though). The bath plug didn't quite fit, so it slowly leaked. Did not have free wi-fi, which was inconvenient. Convenient location in the CBD. We stayed at the Hilton the night before and we...

Stayed for one night. Room was hot and breakfast was cold. Don't think the bacon was cooked. Air conditioner didn't work. Rooms old and grotty. Expensive. Staff while friendly were not helpful at all. Seemed like they had a large number of complaints and didn't know what to do. Don't stay here.
