Wonderful location, handy to many attractions, shopping, theatres. One bedroom accom had bedroom upstairs which got tiring. No shelf space in bathroom for toiletries. Aircon in bedroom did not work well, which made sleep uncomfortable

The value was poor when parking was added on, and the bathroom was poor condition, the staff were not as helpful as you would expect from a cbd establishment. The security was s good, the bed was comfy, the TV reception keep freezing.

Many stairs are required to get to the Basement rooms and for a partially disabled person, this is unacceptable. Neither the Booking.com site or the Hotels own site adequately warns of this. We ere eventually "Upgraded" to a level serviced by a lift. However, staff were very helpful.

I stayed in a one bedroom apartment in this very conveniently located hotel. The apartment was clean, well equipped and comfortable. In the bathroom, the shower is situated over a half length bath which is a bit slippery and there is no grab handle. Potentially a bit dangerous. While it was not an issue for me, the TV is in...

This particular mantra was terrible. From arrival where I arrived at a deserted reception, to no room available till very late, to a smelly corridor leading to the room with guest opposite family sitting on the floor eating with an open door, to boiling hot room that was stuffy and grubby (dirty glasses and soiled lounge)

Great spot to stay for weekend getaway - right in heart of city, close to transport, shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean and the price very good for inner city hotel. Very satisfied.

Location was fantastic! Some minor issues - check in took 25mins making me late for work. Aircon located only in lounge so bedroom get extremely hot, could not open windows and no aircon in bedroom. Windows let through a lot of noise, even people just chatting on street, would be good if they could be double glazed considering CBD location....

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
