We stayed for only a one night casual stay. Ideal location right on Lygon st. It was a good size for us with a big bathroom. The lady who checked us in made us feel very welcome. We booked through a website with discount rates...More
Staff are great. Great value. Good secure parking and an excellent location.
Very friendly welcome, superb clean room with excellent facilities, marvellous location and the nicest of owners.
Thank you for making our stay such a pleasurable experience.
The friendly and welcoming staff set the tone for this small but perfectly located hotel. This is my go to choice for accommodation whenever I come to Melbourne. It is in the heart of trendy Carlton surrounded by bars and restaurants. You are certainly spoiled for...More
The location is tremendous as is close to CBD and Victorian Market. Your car can be left in the car park. Close to great eating.

Well located on the edge of the CBD in the heart of Carlton restaurant strip. Quiet, very clean, small room but very well appointed, pleasant helpful staff all at a bargain price. You could not ask for more.
If you want real parmesan, cut from the block, grated over your pasta with a twist of style, this is the place. Until recently, this neighbourhood was home to the notorious ‘Carlton Crew,’ a pseudo mafia who started their day with a local espresso. They are gone, but the espresso still runs strong in this Little Italy which has something for everyone. Starched white tablecloths, candles, pizza the way
they do it "back home" and maybe even a bit of amore. The number of gelato choices will leave you in a state of indecision and wide footpaths, big awnings and a sea of packed tables makes this al fresco dining experience a continental buzz. Even if you’re not eating, it’s worth the stroll just for the people-watching, which, of course, is an Italian tradition.

Hi Gilbert I believe the car parking was free but it was a fairly small car park....careful on the way in through the back lane and out again as it is a thoroughfare for other businesses. There is car parking elsewhere around the area. I was more nervous about getting a car park at the front reception for check in as it is a busy street and has trams etc but it all seemed to flow ok.
There is some parking and it is very handy in that area of the city. The parking is limited and a little crammed So small car ideal Give them a ring or email them letting them know that you would like a park.
