If you are looking for an apartment that is spacious and well appointed look no further. On a recent visit to Melbourne we needed to accommodate three adults. A lot of the time sleeping on a pull out bed is ok but loved the luxury of a room for the third adult for around the same price as options of...

This apartment hotel is very unassuming from the outside with a small entrance off Little Collins Street. Staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to assist and advise with any queries you may have. Location is perfect - literally a 3 minute walk and you are in Bourke Street Mall, a 3 minute walk the other...

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment recently for my friends birthday. The room had two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other had a kind (two singles joined together). I slept on the queen size bed with my husband and the bed and pillows were really comfy. I hate hard beds and this one was great!...

We had a two bed loft unit. While it is a little dated it was just what we needed - Two adults 2 children. Location is spot on but entrance is a little difficult to find as it is only a doorway. The bathroom probably does need a bit of a facelift, but the remainder of apartment is spacious and...

A quirky apartment hotel in a great location in the city. Probably an old warehouse or so converted which provides for the quirkiness. The beds are very comfortable; a queen in the main and two singles in the loft. A good size bathroom and well services kitchen. TV worked OK and the lounge was of a good size. Limited free...

We recently stayed here for 2 nights and could not fault it. It has 2 bedrooms (1x queen, 1x single) and a good sized bathroom/laundry (bath/shower, basin, toilet, wash machine, dryer and sink), dining/living room and a good sized kitchen with all of the essentials. Location was perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, trams, shopping and public transport. We...

We stayed for 10 nights in apartment 603. The building is great, its a well known residential apartment building in Melbourne that was converted into apartments around 2002 by a prominent Melbourne architecture group. The apartment was spacious. The combined kitchen, dining and living area had a small balcony and a nice view south towards the river, with views of...

We loved our loft apartment. Exactly what we were expecting and a great location close to laneway cafes, street art, and shopping. Definitely would stay there again. Walk to trams, river walks and botanical gardens.

Great 2 bedroom apartment on the 11th floor that was clean and had excellent beds. Happy with nearly everything except for the street noise which did keep me awake at times. We did stay on a weekend though and I am sure that it would not be so bad during the week. Customer service was great and we got our...

Recently stayed in these apartments with family. Positioned perfectly in the city, well designed space with room for everyone. Unfortunately they were poorly cleaned (I.e. Mould in the bathroom, dirty towel and used soap left behind, fat dripping from range hood in the kitchen). The staff were lovely at the reception however and very helpful with any requests. For the...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
