Recently stayed in these apartments with family. Positioned perfectly in the city, well designed space with room for everyone. Unfortunately they were poorly cleaned (I.e. Mould in the bathroom, dirty towel and used soap left behind, fat dripping from range hood in the kitchen). The staff were lovely at the reception however and very helpful with any requests. For the...

Home away from home! Our apartment was very comfortable , and well equipped - with everything you could require. It was very large and light. The staff were all very friendly and wonderfully helpful. It is in a fantastic location in the heart of the CBD and very close to all the city landmarks, highlights and fantastic restaurants and cafes....

We stayed in the two bedroom loft apartment, the living area / bathroom / laundry and master bedroom are all located downstairs with the loft area being the 2nd bedroom with a couple of beds. The rooms were really clean and have all your cooking facilities. The apartments were located in a great location, so central and within walking distance...

The location is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful and the apartment was a reasonable size. However the place was let down by being in need of a few fix-ups such as a coat of paint, a few more kitchen utensils (there were no sharp knives) and a general refresh (a big tear in the quilt cover). Also,...

Stayed 2 nights great location, has everything you would need, bed was comfortable. A couple of cons, not properly cleaned, needs a fresh coat of paint, carpets & windows need cleaning. Just looked run down. Very noisy during the night which makes for interrupted sleep. Wouldn't stay again.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a Q bed and 2 singles. Unfortunately we were there on a weekend when it was over 30 degrees in Melbourne both days and aircon was only sufficient to cover the living area. It was very very hot in the bedrooms. Apart from that it was great. Heaps of wardrobe space, comfy beds,...

I had actually booked another apartment in the cbd due to its swanky looks but then realised that the apartment was managed by a property group and I had no way to contact them to handle my enquiries. So I cancelled that booking and decided to go with this apartment. After booking, I contacted the apartment as I had read...

I don't know what apartment they used to take the photos of the 2bdrm standard apartment but it sure as heck wasn't No 607. This apartment was old, run down and none too clean. The 'luxurious private bathroom' was a very dated shower over bath (which annoyed me because I specifically picked this apartment because of the picture of the...

I'll start with a positive - the location is great and the room was clean. The reception staff were very friendly. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on a Thursday night on the eighth floor. It was a little difficult to find the room - go up one lift to second floor, walk around to the other side of...

Have stayed several times previously and find the location extremely convenient for shopping, sports district (Rod Laver Arena, AAMI park and MCG a ten minute walk) and the CBD especially Chinatown. Received a room upgrade from the lovely Marina, so up to the eleventh floor. A great vista and plenty of room. Clean, well appointed and a great layout with...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
