I booked Gipps st in Jan for our Aznac day weekend and when we arrived we had been bumped to Albert st. We have stayed at all East Melb locations and the reason I book Gipps St is it is a very quiet location.
In comparison to higher priced accommodation we feel we get a better deal here. The newer places may look better but you get a pokey cube divided into cramped areas which often lack hooks in shower area and the very basic supplies of the everyday...More
