This is our second stay at this hotel. Great location, conveniently located next to Queen Victoria Market. Reasonable price. Quick and fast, hassle free check-in and out. For improvement, Housekeeping have to replace same number of towers they took away. It happen few times, luckily, the replenishment almost immediately after I call.

Great place for the family, good size rooms easy walking distance to Melbourne CBD, Queen Victoria Markets, Museum and parks and gardens. Off-street parking was good although a bit tight to enter and exit. Best continental breakfast spread I ever had.

I was welcomed by the staff at 7:50 in the morning, and got early check-in successfully. I also had a decent breakfast. The network speed is high and robust. A very nice experience although not being upgraded.

Good hotel, not overpriced and a great location close to a tram stop that suits us. Have stayed there a number of times and will again being an Accor Advantage Plus member. Restaurant is a bit average but hotel staff are great.

Came to Melbourne to see concert. We had a 2 room suite which was clean enough and quite comfy. was missing a few essential items like bottle opener dish washing gear, but other than that it was good. Location was the real winner being a very short walk from the markets to being a comfortable walk to the Melbourne Concert...

We have just had an overnight stay at this property while attending a conference. We were most impressed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was great. We particularly enjoyed this morning's cooked breakfast. The hotel did well catering for the larger conference group. The room was comfortable and a good temperature....

A lovely hotel and really central to everything we needed. You have the choice of trams down Elisabeth street from Flinders street too. Aldi and Vic markets close. We stayed in a room with double bed and a single. Great size room unfortunately our view was a concrete wall - but we were in the city so... our room had...

A very central hotel close to Victoria Market and Swanson Street with shopping and trams. The room was a one bed apartment with one bathroom and a small kitchen, the other room had a sofa bed so four slept comfortably. Had breakfast one morning, this was ok. Staff were friendly, again location was very good

Stayed many times and now that building next door is done, more quiet. Good location. Use vic market for breakfast. Rooms great and clean and modern enough, food ok. Price normally good. It helps to be an Accor member. Gives free wifi which has an ok speed.

On second days of our visited to Melbourne, we should move from City tempo to this hotel. The location is good because so close with Queen Victoria Market and many stores around, but the room is so average and the amenities is so average.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
