A couple of minutes walk to David Jones, Myers and all the trendy shops and arcades. Short walk to China Town and lots of choices of restaurants. Valet Car parking at a...

The location was fantastic, in the heart of the city. We walked everywhere from here. The service was wonderful, staff were lovely! The only thing was the room was very old, the shower leaked water everywhere and the carpet was a bit outdated and yuk. The walls need a paint. But if you are not looking to spend much time...

I have to say I'm pretty impressed with this place! I used their online check in option, and left them notes saying we had a very early flight in so were keen to have the room as early as possible, and also asked if possible that our king + single room could be made into 3 singles. We checked in...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
