Our room was clean and very spacious. The breakfast buffet and the omelets are delicious. Mya took great care of us, in and out just how we like it The beach was beautiful too They had a band during the day
Crowne Plaza is still living to its name. I cannot express how much we appreciated their efforts for us. We staycationed there for our anniversary, and upon knowing that, they upgraded our room to a room with a better river view, plus, they gave us complimentary champagne in the room. Extra mile gestures indeed! We had the view of the Crown Gas Brigade at night. It was beautiful. Our room was obviously very clean and well-lit, especially because of the huge window with a very nice view of the river. Over all, we had a very pleasant experience and good sleep. Tough, I wasn’t expecting many people. There were still a lot when we checked in and during breakfast. Well, I guess its good that the hospitality industry is recovering.
Exceptional. Very friendly staff and so helpful. Gave us a skyline room and the view was amazing. Given I’d booked here and not there more expensive towers, we realised our view and site was probably better! In fact I loved being over the small bridge and away from bicycles running us over and the hustle of the bank. Where we were was almost at the point of the bank on flinders bridge looking back towards Spencer st bridge and the other bridges and wow! Excellent bedding. Huge picture window. Fantastic cocktails and I can’t fault the food. Tender steak, beautifully cooked greens. Hand made spring rolls. This place was an accidental heaven! V v good! Thankyou!
My husband and I stayed here on a little weekend in the city. The hotel is central and easy to access. Check in was smooth and the reception staff were very helpful. We recieced a free upgrade to river view which was great. The hotel is sort in two sections and was easy to navigate. The room was well presented, clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean and spacious. We also checked out the pool, which is unfortunately outside so we didn't use it. The gym was a good size for a hotel gym and it was clean. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, we prebooked and it was very busy. The only negative is self parking is a few buildings away and we had to hall our bags back..lucky I had my husband with me haha Overall we would stay there again and recommend it to others.
Stayed for 3 nights in a King River View room. Lovely room with a beautiful view and very comfortable king size bed. King bed was great but for $288 per night you would think they could afford sheets that actually fit. Sheets wouldn’t tuck in the end of the bed as they weren’t long enough and barely tucked in at the sides so as soon as you moved they were untucked. I know this may seem like a small issue but very frustrating having to remake the bed constantly. The mattress protected also had broken straps so bunched up with the sheets. Something that could easily be fixed. $60 per night for valet parking and they park your car in the same public car park that costs you $17 per exit or out the front of the hotel in their driveway. We payed the $17. Great shower but water runs out all over the floor and wets the bath mat. Shelf in the fridge wouldn’t even fit in the fridge because you can’t open the door wide enough to get it in. The side of the fridge was damaged where a previous guest tried to get it in. I put in a request for an upgrade to this room type with an extra cost of $52 a night if available. When we checked in I was told that “we have been able to provide you with a complimentary upgrade to a River View room”. I thought great how nice. Then he said “oh I see you asked for an upgrade to the River Room so there will be an extra charge of $52 a night”! I questioned it and he said he would need to speak to his manager and we will sort it out for checkout. We go to checkout and what a surprise no one knew anything about it so I had to pay the extra money. These things are all basic things that could be fixed and would make this hotel perfect.…
