A lot of friendly people & located in the party area of Melbourne (so don't expect a lot of sleep). It's a 10 minute walk from Southern Cross station, 10 minute walk from Queen Vic market so the location is perfect. But I also think...More
Perfect location - Just about 200 meters away from South Cross Station to catch a skybus to the airport.
Great value - Few bucks for a b&b. Wednesday night free pasta. Sunday morning free pancakes.

For what you pay this hostel can't be beat. Staff is awesome and helpful as well as providing breakfast in a city where every meal is going to be expensive. Tuesday's they serve a better breakfast and Wednesday they serve a good pasta for dinner....More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.

King Street is one of the busiest streets in Melbourne, with a booming nightlife (especially on weekends), easy access to sporting venues, and the load leads straight to Crown Casino. As the street is so busy we do our best to keep our hostel a safe, fun, and happy environment.
We have one of our experienced team at the hostel 24 hours a day, every day of the year. If guests have any concerns they are more than welcome to bring them up with us and we will resolve any issues.
As well as having a member of staff at the reception desk 24/7, we also lock our front door after 11pm and guests must use their room key to access a security door. A key is also needed to open your room and the stairwell door that leads to the rooms.
Hopefully we have put your mind at ease and we will see you soon :)
