After the harrowing experience of flight delays and lost luggage what a delight to arrive at Grand Vue. Our host, John, chased up a spare phone charger so we could at least follow-up our lost luggage and showed us to our room. Wow, what a view! Our room was the Spa Suite, overlooking Rest Point with views up to Mt...

My boyfriend and I stayed here in a water view room for a long weekend away. The room and amenities were perfect, the view mesmerising, staff helpful and the hotel was close to everywhere we wanted to go. Not to mention the delicious baked goodies each day! Would definitely recommend! We'll be back next time we visit Hobart!

What a wonderful welcome to Hobart. Everything has already been said before and I have to agree. Attention to detail was impeccable. The room, the view, the tasty and generous breakfast (place your order before 4pm) and the location all perfect. A great base to explore Hobart. The hotel is in a quiet corner of Battery Point and has several restaurants and pubs within a few minutes walk, whilst Salamanca Place and central Hobart is...
