We stayed in the townhouse as opposed to the garret which is smaller. This had two large bedrooms and a loungeroom with a wonderful colonial (Hobartian?) charm. Old photos of The Jackson in it's early days as a pub and then a grocers were on the walls. This place had everything you could ever need on a visit to Hobart....

We took the two bedroom Townhouse which turned out to be a first floor apartment, plus the one bedroom self-contained Garret apartment on second floor level. While the location proved to be better than expected, we did not realize the apartments were above shops with outdoor stairs to each one. so a mean climb for women with heavy luggage. To...

We stayed here for our honeymoon for 5 nights and loved it. It is really well located and has everything you need. Lyn (the owner) put in generous breakfast provisions for us and we enjoyed a hearty breakfast each day. The lounge area is very large and the whole place is beautifully furnished. Highly recommended.

We did our research prior to going to Tassie for the first time. The brief...business holiday to secure new accounts and encompass young family in well deserved week off. The business side was eventful and worthwhile but the accommodation was completely surprising! A beautiful apartment in the absolute heart of Hobart literally on one of two major roads in the...

Fantastic. By far the best accom during our three week tour of Tasmania. Central, a real home away from home. In fact, I wish home was this good. We shared the appartmentment with our travelling mates and had a wonderful time. The single flight of stairs was not a problem at all.

Our family of five stayed here for 2 nights. The townhouse is very comfortable with two bedrooms, and our children aged 13,11 and 9 slept in a very large room with a queen size bed and fold out sofa bed. There is a queen size bed in the other bedroom. The lounge/dining room is a lovely, comfortable room with two...

I was looking for self contained accommodation in central Hobart and found this property via their website. It was a superb find. There is a spacious 2 bedroom unit on the first floor and a 1 bedroom unit on the 2nd floor. (That is the only caution - the stairs) I stayed in the 1 bedroom unit and it was...
