A little tricky for first time visitors to reach as it's in a one way street with very limited street parking to stop and work out how to enter the hotel. However, once you know, you can enter a driveway and park next to entrance doors to check in, with enough room for one car at a time. Parking is...

Stayed two nights for business, service was friendly but the room was very old, run down and in desperate need of refurbishment!! Bathroom & bed were clean but window drapes were stained & marked. On level 2 with street noise very loud. Air con leaked and unfortunately the bed was rock hard... great location but beware of one way street...

We stayed with a large group at this Hotel all riding in on Motorbikes.... the facilities were great although the staff were perhaps a little withdrawn and really never acknowledged us ....the rooms were terrific and had everything we needed.... a few firm pillows would have been lovely ...the location was terrific and the New Sydney Hotel across the road...

This place would be flat out been 2 star and that's generous. Wife, daughter and myself were told there'd be microwave and adequate room space. Neither happened. Checking in was haphazard, parking very minimal, first in best served and seemed to accomodate for small cars, hired Camry barely fitted in. No allocated parking spots at all. Hardly any cups no...

Delicious and generous breakfast food, ad good clean room. Cons: our room in the middle of chinese group and they keep banging the door night and...

Spent 4 nights at the Mid City Hotel recently and wasn't impressed. Our room, on level 2, was directly above the drive way and twice we were woken at around 4.30 in the morning when either rubbish was emptied or laundry picked up - not sure which, just know there was a lot of noise. The New Sydney Hotel which...

Once block from the Elizabeth St Mall – literally right in the heart of the city. Easy walk to everything. It’s a three star hotel – not five as some of the other reviewers seem to expect. Our room appeared to have been recently renovated, very clean and tidy with great views of the city and Mt Wellington. Great pub...

Not a bad hotel close to town. The beds need an upgrade hard as a rock as were the pillows. Staff were very helpful and car parking facilities were handy being that close to town. Would stay again if the beds were upgraded as no sleep and kids are always a great way to spend a holiday!!

Stayed here many times, its been refurbished since my last trip. New mattresses -the beds are now super comfy. Showers/bathrooms have been done up, as clean as ever but now very shiny and new looking into the bargain. And the lifts, which used to groan and creak, are now super fast and reliable. Staff extremely helpful and willing to go...

Friendly receptionist & clean room. It looked liked they'd revamped the rooms & the bathroom was very modern. Communal areas seem a little bit tired but overall not a bad place to stay. Perfectly situated for lots of shops, places to eat & only a 10 to 15 minute walk down to the waterfront. We stayed for 5 nights &...
