Perfect little b&b for the 3 nights we were in Hobart. Being that little bit out of town was perfect to return to at the end of a long day sightseeing. The views from the top of the hill (and from the b&b!) are awesome! The bed was super comfortable, the shower had perfect water pressure and had great hot...

What a lovely place. Small, but no surprise as this is shown on their website, but with all the amenities that you could wish for. Our hosts were great too, friendly and welcoming, and like all the places we stayed at knowledgeable about places to visit in the near vicinity. We did our own thing. There is a bus service...

Just stayed there for a long three night weekend with my wife and we loved this place. The location as such is perfect. Close to the CBD and all major attractions. And yet being almost on top of Mt Nelson and bordering to a large reserve it feels as if you are miles away from all hassle. Views on Hobart,...

This B&B covers the basics - it is snug and simple which is quite appropriate because here you want to spend the time outside! There are beautiful bushland trails down to Sandy Bay just on the other side of the fence. The location is beautifully quiet, the hosts are wonderful people. The resident dogs friendly and welcoming. Great place to...

This place is a hidden gem! We only stayed one night but would have gladly had longer if it hadn't been booked out. Really comfortable with everything we needed and great supplies for a decent continental breakfast. The best thing about this place is it's location - right at the top of Mt. Nelson, next to the Signal Station. Spectacular...

Breathtaking views, wake up to natural sunlight. Spot groups of wallabies in the morning and walk around the amazing trails of Mt Nelson. Excellent owners/hosts. Would recommend to have a own/rental car as it is a fair way from centre of town, although this would apply to hobart in general as public transport is quite sparse.

Great place to stay, and well-connected to the city centre bus route. All breakfast essentials supplied so that you can have breakfast whenever you wanted. Peaceful, excellent wildlife watching, and so close to some amazing views and walks around Mt Nelson.

Signalman's Cottage was perfect for our needs. Warm, great location, good views and well-priced. This is a good choice if you're looking for a nice getaway, with ready access to amenities of the city and Sandy Bay (10mins). We enjoyed our stay and will be sure to return.

We loved the place. It is located at the top of Mt. Nelson so is recommended only if you are on self-drive. A very romantic place. Very comfortable, quiet and warm.
