We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. No cookie cutter hotel this. It maintains its proud historic provenance. Our room was well appointed, clean, larger than most hotel rooms with lovely toiletries. The Atrium where you can have breakfast is a light filled room with the most amazing trailing indoor plants that cascade down from a storey above. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the must do Salamanca market and the wharf where a seafood meal is a necessary pleasure. Would definitely recommend and stay again when next in Hobart

A quick visit to see daughter after she relocated from Barossa Valley to Cygnet in Tasmania in August last year. We booked Hadleys for two nights as it was central to everything we wanted to do. The hotel is elegant, friendly staff and all the modern conveniences everyone expects now. The hotel is not the newest but has character that is sadly missing in today’s concrete jungles. When we booked in Lucie was at the front desk and provided us with our entry key and relevant details of our stay. Lucie was very friendly as were all other staff that we met during our stay. We were upgraded to the most amazing suite which included chesterfield lounges and dining room. A visit we will long remember and look forward to our next adventure in Tassie.

Great bar, friendly staff and squeaky floors of an old pub. The food is great the beers are cold and the rooms are fantastic. This is the go to location if you want that special stay right in the centre of Hobart. It’s ok the squeaky floor don’t keep you awake!!!!

Well worth booking a Heritage Suite if possible, lovely big rooms, huge bedroom, lounge room, dining area and for me the all important balcony. I really liked that the bathroom and toilet were in separate rooms, both with separate hand basin’s, which is an added bonus. There’s plenty of cupboards and draws. 2 TV’s, one in the lounge room and one in the bedroom. The continental breakfast is included in the room rate which is very good, but for $9.95 you can add on a delicious hot breakfast, well worth it. Happy hour in the bar is 5 to 6 Mon to Friday. Beer $5 Cocktail $10, excellent value. I highly recommend staying here, the location is close to the waterfront and city.

You really do step back to another era with this hotel, the hotel is beautiful with a real charm, front office staff are friendly and professional. As the floor boards talk to you as you walk down the corridors you really know you stepped back in time, it was vaguely familiar in a nice way. The rooms are smallish but comfortable , bath rooms in need of a little upgrade. Breakfast is included but suggest avoid as it wasn't done with a polish a hotel of this price requires.
