We stayed at the Best Western Hobart on the weekend. Unfortunately we found the check-in process lacking in detail as we were not told anything about check out time or breakfast or food options at the hotel. We were literally given our room key and sent on our way. The room itself was clean and tidy and the bed was...

Luke and Tracey at the front of house have the best customer service that I have come across in Hobart. Paddy and Eloise in the bar/ Embers were sensational with their service and friendliness. The food was awesome and I heavily suggest a stay or visit for a bite to eat.

Great beds (Very comfortable) and good location with very friendly staff, older property but good value for money. Stayed on business trip but would come back if on my own trip. Hotel is in the middle of Hobart and within easy walking distance to city sights and places to eat and shops.

The hotel, whilst old is tidy and in a good location. The food in the restaurant was ok albeit bland in taste. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The room was basic, the bed was very comfortable but the pillows were lousy. The walls are very thin which meant that one could hear everything in the rooms around...

We stayed at this motel thinking it was a Mercure. How wrong we were. It has changed names, but nothing else has changed. Dated, old and very 1960s. Bathrooms need urgent work. The restaurant is beautifully presented but the menu needs work. Over. 45 minute wait for a duck pizza with 4.5 pieces of duck on it on a night...

I am glad you liked the refurbished restaurant but I am concerned about your comments about your meal, which will be investigated. I hope you will be able to...

The hotel was walking distance to the city which made it very convenient. Staff were very hospitable and made sure we were taken care of. The rooms were comfortable - definitely the BEST bed I have slept in! The rooms had adequate heating and our room had views to Mount Wellington..

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in August 2013. Reasonably priced and room comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only one problem, on checking in we were advised that breakfast was included. Although I stated that I believed we had not paid for room and breakfast the staff member insisted we had and so did restaurant staff...

I had realistic expectations for this hotel based upon the price, but I felt let down by the reviews I read here prior to booking. We stayed at this property for 3 nights. Our hotel is 100% non-smoking and we advertise this prominently; I do hope another guest had not gone against this rule....
