This place had the feel of a hostel more than a hotel. Staff were really nice, rooms were okay, and the free wifi was great. The free breakfast is okay, small portions, but still a free breakfast. The room was decent, really small and bare, but clean. However, the bathroom had a musty smell. The worst thing about this place...

Checked in today 1st May, arrived at 10am clearly well before check in and was warmly greeted by the lovely woman on reception and allowed into my room early! Only a few rooms upstairs but very bright and sunny, extremely clean. I stayed in a double room, spacious layout, very modern bathroom, looked out into an alley. Bar downstairs is...

Definitely not 3 star. No lift. Check-in at hotel bar. Our room (no.1) was very small, only one small bedside shelf, memories of cheap London accommodation. Noticed room 5 much larger than the room we were in. Web site shows a reasonably spacious room, 2 bedside shelves, big variation in room size and only $3 difference in price. If you...

This hotel is n an excellent position and really good value for money. Breakfast was included and you could add extra "courses", i.e. cereal before your choice of cooked main breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was a good size with separate bathroom and clean. Only one fault with ours was that we had a...

It was clean, modern with a spacious room and a bathroom and very quite (we stayed in the middle of the week). Breakfast was ok too. Just a note regarding staying in the middle of the week- a lot of restaurants around were...

If you want to be in the centre of town, walking distance to shops, museums etc. Reasonably priced room with breakfast included. We stayed 2 nights while we checked out the Cascade Brewery, Maritime Museum etc. Would recommend doing the Red Double Decker Bus Tour. Hop on hop off option. We used this and didn't use the car during our...

We stayed for five days, perhaps that was the problem. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable. However, the bathroom was dirty and needed a good clean - brown mould at the bottom of the toilet, which I scrubbed off with the loo brush when we arrived. The shower tray was dirty and had not been cleaned for...
