Even though there are cheaper places to stay underground in Coober Pedy, it was certainly worth the extra to stay here. This was our last stop of our holiday, and the only time we didn't stay in our camper trailer. We were welcomed wholeheartedly at reception by our host, and were able to park our camper trailer in the carpark...

I had to place a hand towel in the shower as the tiles were so filthy. Would never go back here to stay. I understand the upside down umbrellas hanging to catch the debris that falls from the roof but the state of the bathroom was terrible. Luckily we were only here for 1 night. The kids slept well but...

This is one of those places that will stay in our memories for a long time to come. Kids adored the quirkiness of the place. Very family-friendly. Staff are relaxed, helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed our one night here. (The receptionist's recommendation to visit next door, 'The Old Timer's Mine' was greatly appreciated as it gave us a...

Excellent welcoming motel and very family friendly. Appropriate for all travellers with ramped access to reception and rooms. One of the warmest welcomes I've had on arriaval in terms of being shown to the room with brief overview of the town's unique opal mining operation including been shown glints of opal in the rock wall of my room. Fascinating place...

Wanted to experience what it was like underground and can now tick off the bucket list. Room was quiet and bed comfortable. Customer service was fantastic. Cannot fault. Asked to use the BBQ and all the utensils were supplied. Would highly recommend. The furnishings would have been the only let down.

Stayed underground before but it was nothing like this. The room could've been funished better but it was a very comfortable place to stay none the less. There were three single beds and one double in the room aswell as a medium sized bathroom and a small kitched with a kettle and bar fridge. The owners were very friendly and...

From the moment we arrived the owners went out of their way to accomodate us, extra parking for our trailer and very friendly helpful service. Great recommendations on things to see around town with our three children. Our room was larger than we thought and had plenty of space for the five of us.

Decided to spend a couple of nights underground. Different to say the least. Room was reasonable in size and clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was smallish and shower curtain struggled to contain the water. Reception/owners were friendly and helpful. It is quite expensive, but enjoyed the experience.

Great hotel with extremely friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Nice, very clean rooms. Privet parking spot in the front of the hotel, possibility to do you laundry. We loved the garden outside, sat down on the grass in the sun! Thank you for the awesome experience guys!

Amazing place with friendly staff, Anyone who reads this! - ask for an impromptu tour of the hotel! The mines they found while constructing the hotel and the stories that go with them make for an experience that is more interesting and authentic than anything in town - and it's free!
