A fantastic location and a very comfortable b&b. There was more than enough room for the 5 of us and we had a fantastic time. Having looked at all the other reviews I can't really add anything. The provisions were amazing, homemade jams and compote and Rose and Alex were so welcoming it really made the visit memorable. We'll definitely...

Spacious, clean and comfy with everything you need. Although I'm from Adelaide, I had never been to Coober Pedy, and had always wanted to stay in one of the underground hotels/B&Bs. Rose and Alex are genuinely friendly and welcoming, and it is clear why this place is rated so highly by its visitors. They greeted us on arrival (wine and...

I look at all the fantastic comments on these pages and wonder what I can say any better! We were met at the airport by this tiny superb fairy wren, Rose. Those who know me, know partner is 6'8 and me 5'10, quite a difference to her. She drove us to their home and like eveyone else, we loved it,...

A family looking for room to move, staying in pokey hotels from darwin to melbourne.. We were very lucky to come across this place !! plenty of room for the baby to crawl around and a highlight for our 10yr old. Everything you need, even coffee beans to grind for a few fresh plunger cuppa's before the big road trip...

Extremely clean and comfortable accomodation. The hosts are friendly without being intrusive and were ver accommodating with provisions of breakfast, wine and chocolates. Can't recommend this place highly enough for a unique experience. Very cozy.

My wife and I have just spent two very comfortable nights in Down to Erth. The contrast between the slightly industrial appearance of the external surroundings as we followed the sat nav to Wedgetail Crescent and the elegance of Rose and Alex's guest accommodation was considerable and the fact that they provide a bottle of wine to welcome guests does...

The accomodation was first class, we loved the layout it was very open and well designed with natural timber handrails, it has a unique style. We all agreed that the ambiance of the place was very special and we all felt very comfortable despite the stone roof and walls its hard to believe you are underground. Having free wifi and...

Down to Ert B&B was the best place we spent in one month trip in Australia. Rose and Alex gave nice breakfast and even internet. Everything was perfect for us. We enjoyed the fantastic sunset and sunrise everyday. Took many great photos while staying there. Recommend this accommodation for travellors in Coober Pedy. Late thank-you, Rose and Alex from Seoul,...

We were wonderfully surprised by this relaxing oasis in the middle of a long road trip from Perth to Alice Springs. A real feeling of home from home, even though we were only there for one night. Testament to the fact that it was built for family. The night sky stars were fantastic and as a surburbanite, the silence during...

Can't say enough good things about this place. Lots of space and light, and considering it's underground it didn't feel at all claustrophobic. Rose gives you a generous breakfast package which is much nicer than the usual B&B minimalist stuff, including Rose's own jam which was excellent. It's quite private, with your own entry, but Rose and Alex are always...
