Thanks to Rose & Alex who made our stay very comfortable. We spotted the place at the information centre and Rose gave up her free day to accommodate us. We are extremely thankful. Ron, sunk into the complimentary wine whilst Rona chatted with Rose. Rona was impressed with the attention to detail, which was more than what we had expected....

I'm so glad my friend found this place. It must be the best accommodation in Coober Pedy. The underground experience was amazing and a must if you are in Coober. The accommodation was spacious and beautiful. Alec has done a wonderful job on the building side and Rose's attention to detail leaves you with nothing to want for. The beds...

This place was a lucky find. A Family of 4, we had plenty of space. The place was fantastic!!! To be honest it was nice to be out of town also. Underground luxury! The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding and Rose was great. A host that was helpful (good tips on places to see) and friendly but not...

Our experience in Coober Pedy was made so much better by our stay in real underground accommodation at Down to Erth. Rose's attention to detail makes certain that your stay there is comfortable with spotless rooms, well equipped kitchen, and wonderfully fresh breakfast with home made jams and preserves. There is even a welcoming bottle of Red and chocolates. Both...

This really added to our outback experience. Rose and Alex are a lovely couple and we got to experience a little bit of their very different lifestyle. The place is spotless and Rose has ensured that all your needs for your B&B are met. The cereals were fresh, amazing home made jams, generous quantities of fresh milk, butter, bread and...

This was a great experience, particularly for my husband who had never been to Coober Pedy before, and certainly hadn't lived 'under ground'. The house is spotlessly clean with a comfy bed and a well equipped kitchenette. Rose and Alex were great hosts, and very pleased to share with us places of interest to see - they couldn't do enough,...

We were on our long planned road trip to Uluru from Sydney and had booked to stay, in total for 3 nights, to and from Uluru. Even though we were looking forward to the experience we had no idea how pleasant it would be. Rose and Alex have thought of everything to make guests comfortable from the welcome bottle/s of...

A really fantasic cave/house! Rounded walls, soft sofa, kitchen, two bedrooms - such a different place to anywhere I've ever stayed in. Wish it had have been summer then we could have used the little pool or the BBQ, but we stayed one night over winter. Bit pricy compared to other accommodation in the area, but it was by far...

We were welcomed very warmly on our arrival by both Rose and Alec who were very helpful. There is plenty of room and we all enjoyed the wonderful experience. The added 'homely' touches were wonderful. The local knowledge shared was very useful. Certainly more than we expected. Highly recommended.

It has been a wonderful experience of staying at Down to Earth. We were greeted with warmth at the door of the B&B by Rose and Alec who are just living next door. Help can be offered at any time. The dugout, a cave 30 metre below the hill, is a must try when visiting this world capital of opal....
