Staff weren't friendly nor did they bother to inform us how to operate the lights in the room, how to contact staff if we needed someone and where to locate any of the facilities in the building when we checked in, We had to go down to reception a couple of times which was very annoying. Reception staff seemed racist,...

A lovely place to stay being in a very convenient place with access to the middle of Adelaide. The only thing I didn't like was not having a balcony to go out on being up on the 6th floor. Having to park the car in another area was ok and a nice walk looking at shops. Very helpful staff but...

I didn't understand why this hotel was so much cheaper as other 4 stars hotel. Until we arrived.... At arrival we noticed the neon lights of the hotel name was partly broken which looked kind of cheap. The reception staff looks (mostly) like they work on a camping site reception; rolled up sleeves, no ties or jackets. The reception area...

We stayed in this Hotel for two nights on our trip through Australia. It was only a few minutes drive away from the Airport. Which was good, because after way more than 30 hours of travelling we wanted to get to the Hotel fast. Check-In was fast and the staff helpful and friendly. The Hotel might look a bit old-fashioned...

We stayed in a King Spa room which was lovely. Small touches such as a television on a swivel plate so you could watch from the spa. Close to the tram which took us to dinner, close to the Mall which was lovely to shop. Friendly attentive staff. Disappointments, the pool was being refurbished so was closed, the dining room/restaurant...

This is quite an old property and for the price you pay, it is absolutely not worth it. The queen sized room was so small that it ended as soon as you entered and quite cramped. I was later upgraded to a spa room, which was apparently the best in the league, but it wasn't that great. I would only...

It all started off with an efficient check in on our first day. We went to room 401 (away from the noisy alley which I had requested before we left). We complained the following morning because of noisy vibrating a/c in room and squeaky bathroom door. Being about 4 degrees at night, we would've liked to have kept the a/c...

For me, staying in a place like the Grand Chancellor, it is all about the overall experience. The hotel chain has a good name so I thought it would be really good. I thought wrong. My husband and I stayed here in May 2014. We had asked for a quiet room however that was not to be the case. We were...

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night in a King Suite, the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and we were within walking distance of everything we needed. We also ordered room service for breakfast which was a great price for what we got. I would definitely stay again!
