When this hotel chain first came to Australia, I was a frequent guest at many of their properties. Times change. Lesson is, don’t take previous experience for granted. It's not that the Grand Chancellor Adelaide On Currie is a terrible hotel or that the staff are efficient without being overly (or even passibly) friendly but, with its generic 90s hotel...

This is a great little hotel with very friendly staff with clean, comfortable and cosy rooms. We have stayed here several times and never been disappointed from the warm reception on check-in to the comfortable and quiet rooms and lovely swimming pool /spa for a bit of unwinding before a night out in the City which is just meters away...

We had to travel to Adelaide urgently so it was a last minute booking. We couldn't fault the staff the room or the restaraunt. The room was clean, a true king size bed not 2 pushed together. The hotel had a pool and spa both very clean. The restaraunt had good food choices and what we had was delicious I...

This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel and again for me didn't disappoint. Warm and easy welcome on arrival.Had the 1 bedroom suite (Thank you was much appreciated and the little touches made it even more of a warm welcome). Room was clean and spacious..sure there are things that could be updated (curtains not hooked on properly) but...

The only positive was that the hotel is in a great, central location. The room itself was nothing more than 3 star. Housekeeping was terrible. The empty bottles of beer that I drank from the minibar were left in my room for 3 days as was the room service food tray.Toilets weren't cleaned properly. Don't order the food from the...

I stayed overnight in one of the executive rooms on the 2nd floor. the room was great . the bed very comfy. there is a pool and spa in the basement, although no parking on site the parking is just a short walk down a lane way. location of hotel is ideal close to shops restaurants. i would come again.

This is an old and outdated hotel and very overpriced for what you get. We arrived a few days ago on a hot summers night only to find that they had a split system from prehistoric times that roared louder than a grand prix car. If we turned it off the room was too hot. Upon alerting the reception staff...

We stayed overnight in one of the executive rooms on the 12 th floor. Room was great except a sheet thrown over summer quilt instead of a quilt cover. Took forever for hot water to get to 12th floor and shower in the bath wasn't what I'd expect.

I hadn't stayed in the centre of Adelaide for a while and tried the Grand Chancellor on Currie. It is in a great location and once there we didn't need to take the hire car out again. The rooms are clean and comfortable without being overly large. The parking is around the corner but you get to walk down some...

A lovely little hotel with great service, spacious rooms, and all the creature comforts. A quick walk from rundle mall and all the little treasures of peel and Leigh street. A great stay . Cafe downstairs was lovely, good coffee and nice eats. Would stay again, was quiet and parking was easy to access.
