A great variety of accommodation offered and VERY clean. GREAT chefs with meat cooked to perfection. However service everywhere at the resort eg bars, reception, coffee orders are VERY slow and VERY unfriendly. The Island is beautiful though.

Love Fraser Island magic spot, we where so disappointed that on our 8 day holiday in a 2 bedroom villa all the food was terrible.. over priced and really horrible, buffet in Maheno restaurant $39.5 for your protein then u get a buffet with it, this consists of 4 salads, veggies a soup and stale bread roll! No dessert for...

Dear staceyg Thank you for your loyalty in staying again and for posting a review. Mid way through last year we changed our standard buffet to a buffet carte which allows guests to choose a cooked to order main that they can accompany with their choice of sides from a buffet. Dessert is available separately at this restaurant however we...

A nice resort with good facilities but doesn't cater to clients who get sick - no room service - so great if you are fit and well but no provision for difficulties. the Island is lovely and the Four Wheel drive hire was excellent . lake Mackenzie is wonderful and Eli Creek and the wreck a worth a visit. Central...

We recently stayed at the kingfisher bay resort and we had mixed reactions about our overall experience. The resort itself was reasonably priced and rooms etc were as described. They had a very organised set up with getting your ferry over and arranging your luggage been dropped off to your room. They appeared very flexible with lots of guests getting...

Nice room in a beautiful place. Staff extremely friendly. Plenty to do, but some tours are a little pricey. The taxi driver Lisa was a great alternative to hiring a 4 wheel drive. Had lots of local knowledge. Could do with a few cheaper and healthier food options.

Fraser Island is awesome however the resort is average. We stayed for five nights and ended up in hives every morning that gradually got worse over the duration. I reckon from the bed bugs. The beds and linen are old. They dont change or wash the blankets and duvet. Just the sheets. The mattresses are old from last century and...

Nice venue, use their ferry unless you have a 4WD the roads can be rough and travel is slow. The natural beaty is spectacular but you need to leave the resort to fully appreciate the Fraser Island experience. Overall a nice place to stay

I loved every minute of our stay on Fraser Island - the stunning scenery, activities and walks are amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was delightful, private and quiet. We had a great time and would highly recommend the experience to our friends. Only disappointment was the lack of fresh fruit platters and the poor selection...

Ok, let me start off in saying, overall I really enjoyed my stay at Kingfisher. The resort is good and in my opinion Fraser Island is a must for any tourist to Queensland. The Island itself is just beautiful and so much to see and do. I have traveled the world and have never seen water as clear as it...

A beautiful place to stay. You are immersed in all types of stunning environments. Food terribly expensive and not fantastic. Glad we mainly self catered Cocktail hours were good value. Pools relaxing and beautifully landscaped. Tides were restrictive when hiring 4wheel drive so difficult to see much of eastern side. Lakes and rainforest stunning but Mackenzie absolutely packed with people.
