We stayed on Fraser Island specifically for the 4WD. Kingfisher Bay was a great base to all the beautiful places to see. It was a little more expensive than we expected however the staff were wonderful and very informative. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kingfisher Bay.

Everything was very well organised from booking to transfers and check in. Hotel rooms could do with minor updates but very comfortable on the whole. Resort is set out well with a good variety of restaurants with different price points. Activities great. Lovely walks and the beauty spots tour is a must.

Extensive grounds, comfortable rooms designed with own patio overlooking bill-a-bong. Excellent driver - Martin - with knowledge and humour on Beauty Spot tour. Great service starting from ferry ride over to the island and well trained staff everywhere. Enjoy wilderness walks alone or in guided groups. Unbelievable sunsets with drinks and nibbles on the beach.

We did this on another Luxury Escapes packages. The advantage of these deals is they manage to include experiences which you may normally avoid. We were in one of the hotel rooms which suited us as they have a double & a single bed in the room. Pretty obvious that a lot of refurbishment has gone into the place. I... More

Wonderful 3 night stay at 5 star resort. Staff were fantastic always friendly and helpful. The tours were incredible to experience. The Islands sights like the Meheno wreck, Eli Creek and main beach were amazing to see. Will travel again to Fraser Island.

A great place to kick back and relax. If not there for relaxing the resort offered plenty of other things to do. We spent most of our time around the pool area which was very inviting. Our accommodation was starting to look a bit tired but clean with a comfy bed.

Amazing spot, lovely rooms even on a budget. The jetty was my favourite spot and watching the sunset over sandy strait each night with a wine and cheese was unforgettable. The whales were everywhere, and for the first time in my life I saw a dugong - just at the end of the jetty. Will definitely be back.

We spent 2 days on Frasier island in this resort. Resort provides a full series of activities. We attended the tour on the island with an air conditioned 4 wheel drive coach with a guide. Tours are on sand roads and therefore can be bumpy but the staff is friendly and the nature is awesome ! We liked the add... More
