Room OK but ended up being bitten by several bugs in the night. Long term mould in bathroom and toilet that hadn't been cleaned. Kitchen was ok but food security on the breakfast (milk and fruit juice) simply not there.

We stayed here for two nights. John was a friendly and helpful manager/owner. Centrally located but still quite a walk to local restaurants etc. One of the words used to describe the accommodation was "quaint" and it was, but I felt it could just do with a little updating, just seemed a little tired. But, reasonably priced. Shared facilities on...

John is a relaxed and accommodating host. The room (we stayed there twice) is small but clean with a good, firm bed and bar fridge. It is shared bathroom and kitchen facilities but there is plenty of room and facilities for all without being cramped for space + a nice little breakfast included. Close to Wollworths and 5 mins from the...

Coral Lodge is a small, casual and easy-going accommodation place with a friendly and helpful staff in a quiet environment and in a walking distance from the city center and attractions (like Maritime Museum). It is close to the local tourist information center, where you can find various excursions e.g. to the Great Barrier Reef. We wanted to have a...

The rooms are very clean and cosy. The fridge provides cold water, the vending machine in the clean and well equipped kitchen offers soft drinks for a reasonable price. The bathrooms on the floor are very clean and nice. The lodge is located near the city centre with restaurants and bars, and not too far (walking distance if you like...

“I believe that the lodge also has self contained units. I did not see them but when I spoke to another guest she said that they were very nice a bit more expensive but probably well worth it if you want extra privacy.”
