This is the place to stay when you go to Townsville. It's not expensive, it has a quality restaurant and if you want the bars and restaurants of the Strand they are only a short stroll away, which means it's nice and quiet when you want it to be. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and very clean. I will...

Had no knowledge of any accommodation in Townsville. Travelling with our family so was seeking something reasonably priced. Our family of five really enjoyed staying here. Ideally situated next to the Strand. Well kept rooms in a quiet location. Highly recommended.

Great location, The Strand is only a 1-2 minute walk away from the Yongala. There is plenty of places to choose from to eat only minutes away on the Strand. The Seaview hotel offers a selection of $10.00 meals from Monday to Thursday nights. The free waterpark for the kids on the Strand is at the end of the street...

Yongala Lodge was pleasant, clean and spacious. Yes, the wifi only works on the front verhanda but it's undercover and there are loads of tables and chairs for your comfort. A little noisey but we stayed in school holidays.

Gorgeous grand old wooden house with accomodation out the back. Ask the receptionist to show you the antique furniture. Our group booked an apartment and room that were both really spacious. The smokers loved the balcony in the apartment. The managers let us order pizza delivery to the grand front veranda of the old house to enjoy the atmosphere.

Cheap price. Comfortable and clean room. Very helpful staff if you have any little problem they can and will help you. Cool air conditioning. Wifi not usable in most of the rooms due to distance. Nice pool.

We stayed here for one night in April. When we arrived the lady was very friendly and let us use the WiFi before we had checked in. We had been due to dive the yongala wreck, but due to the weather it had to be cancelled, so we wanted to hang around for an extra day so had to cancel...

Perfect place to stay whilst in Townsville. Not far to walk for some attractions. Beds were comfy and room was a decent size. Pool was beautiful for a swim. The aquarium and museum was about a 10 minute walk.

Stayed here 3 nights in August. Great experience. The staff was very friendly, the room was huge, the location was great, and the price was extremely cheap for non backpacker accommodation in Townsville.
