We had a wonderful stay, 4 nights in apartment 23 - spectacular views. Room was pleasant, good air con and had all the amenities of home. Facilities are very good and well maintained. Car parking is very tight, and wifi not the best but I wouldn’t let that stop your stay. Management are very good and very welcoming Thanks for a great stay - we will be back

Our apartment was on the 17th (top) floor which we chose for the view, a personal recommendation of the building but different apartment and location. The furnishings were stained and dirty, dirty saucepans which were unsafe and no baking dishes. No toiletries and stained and threadbare carpet. The outdated curtains were also grubby. The managers were very helpful and tried to be as accommodating as they could within their decision making ability but the owner chose to reimburse us for the remainder of our stay. That was something I guess.

Spent 5 nights at Berkeley on the beach. Room was unclean, dust on surfaces, sticky residue on table, dirt under chairs, smashed hole in the stove top, cupboard doors that wouldn’t close properly, windows that looked like they had never been cleaned. Outside chairs were dirty and worn but didn’t use the outside area as our view of the beach was a homeless man outside our window. We checked out, wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping the floors and removing rubbish to then find an $800 hold on our c/c when returning home. I instantly contacted the hotel to find we were being charged for the smashed stove top. I was told there was a piece of glass missing which they couldn’t find, my response being “you couldn’t find the glass because we didn't break it, in-fact we never even used it”. Of course they want photos which we didn’t take due to finding the room in that condition. Who would of thought you’d have to do your own condition report on entering, I just wonder how many other people have been charged for the same damage, how many others have returned home after taking their children on a family holiday to be hit with a bill like this?

Great location: close enough to walk to Surfers Paradise shopping & restaurants without being ‘in’ the riff-raff. Absolute beachfront location with patrolled beaches in immediate proximity. Pool, spa & sauna are excellent. Apartment was clean with 10/10 views. Lucy & Tom’s service was flawless.
