My Husband and I stayed in Dec 2020. As you can see by the photo there was no Patio just doors that opened to a barrier and looked straight into the building next door, There was no Air Conditioning which in queensland it was not something that I thought I had to check if a hotel had, which meant keeping the windows open at night and the road noise was really bad that it kept us awake, You would think with Covid that every room would be stopless after a covid clean, As much as it was a great spot on the beach I would say we will not be back.

Very Tired - Hotel doesn't know Good Customer Service. I think it was really poor when I arrived at the Hotel at 12 noon to check in to be charged an extra $20.00 to check in 2 hours early. yes and TIRED is an understatement.

Unfortunately the location is all this hotel has to offer. Don't be fooled by the website pictures. We checked in to our room on level 7(a 1 bdrm unit) and Unfortunately we had to ask to be moved due to my husbands height vertigo, the staff were good & found us a room on level 1(a studio room). We set our stuff down in the room & went out for the afternoon, upon return we could hear a awful sound in the wall (was too late to call reception) that went on until at least 9am the next morning (sounded haunted). The next morning Me being me (previously working in the industry) decided to look under the bed, well didn't I find a surprise! A used TAMPON & water bottle, dust that clearly indicated it hadn't been cleaned in a while. We immediately went to reception to report our find, they were apologetic, unfortunately there wasn'ta suitablerooms to be moved too we were told our room would be thoroughly cleaned while we were out, we were also given a $10 breakfast voucher each. We went out for the day to return to it still under the bed. The receptionist came up & started to clean the mess, whilst doing so I checked behind the lounge to find Another used Tampon, this made us livid so we asked for a refund, they obliged & returned our money for the next night leaving us now with no where to stay. We eventually found somewhere out of town, being a Friday night this cost us more & cost us in transport. Sent numerous emails & phone calls to ask for a full refund, to only be returned a week later. Yes they issued us a full refund eventually but, it ruined our holiday & now we don't want to return again to Surfers Paradise. We understand it is a 3 star establishment but our finds are simply unacceptable. Let's hope they refurbish all rooms & give their Housekeepers a stern talking to or maybe even find new ones.

We didn’t even end up staying for our allocated time we booked. We got into our room and it was dirty. Crumbs and fingernails on the kitchen floor. My husband went down to reception to let them know. He was told that someone would come up and clean it. We waited 20 minutes and no one came. He went down a second time and apparently the message was never passed on. We ended up checking out as we were both very unhappy. Not very COVID safe when room is still dirty.

The room and hotel facilities were overall outdated BUT it is worth staying for the beach front and central location with very reasonable price of around $100. The bed and bathroom were spotless but kitchen utensils, especially the pan, looked a bit old to use.
